37)No More School

Paige Pov

Taylor never told me the results of the anxiety testing. I don't ask her about it. I don't really want to know.

We get home and I kick off my combat boots by the door.

"You gonna put those nicely." Taylor says locking the door.

"Well I was going to just leave them." I say. "But I am putting them nicely on the rack now."

Taylor heads into her bedroom to change and I head down the other hallway into my room.

I change into a gray crop top and a pair of black leggings. I then head back into the living room.

Taylor comes out of her room with her hair in a messy bun, gray leggings and a knitted blush pink sweater.

"What do you want for dinner tonight?" She asks me as she heads into the kitchen.

I get up from the couch and follow to the island of the kitchen and sit in one of the stools.

"Um what do we have?" I say as Taylor opens up the fridge.

"How about grilled cheese and soup?" She says taking out two soup cans.

"Sure."

Taylor Pov

I make two grilled cheeses and tomato soup for the both of us. This is one of Paige's favorite meals.

After we eat, mostly in silence. We did a lot of talking already today. And more later when I tell her she isn't going to the school. Paige heads to the living room and I clean up the dishes.

So I didn't bring anything up, neither did she.

Which was strange. Normally if I don't bring anything up to talk about, Paige normally starts talking. Asking me questions about everything from my childhood to Nashville.

We I told her we were recording her music all she was talking about was Nashville.

I am surprised we had the time to record the six song EP, for Scott when we head back down to Nashville.

Once I clean up the kitchen I head into the living room, "Hey paige do you mind going to your room and hanging out for a little while."

"Um yea sure, but why?"

"I have to make some private phone calls."

"Oh ok I understand. I will put headphones on so I can't hear you at all." She says getting off the couch and heading down the hallway.

"Thank you so much. I will try to make it quick."

"You better, we have a new episode of Law in Order SVU tonight!" Paige says laughing as she opens the door to her room.

Austin Pov

Just finished another day of play practices at Notre Dame. I am graduating in about a year and I cannot wait to land movie roles.

I go back to my apartment. Since I am a junior, I don't need to live on campus anymore, so I have an apartment. Taylor offered to just buy me to place. I told her though I just wanted to rent it saying I was probably going to go live in New York City or LA after college.

She then offered to pay for my rent each month, which I then again refused. I know she has the money and that she is just trying to be a good sister. However I need to know that I can live on my own.
