Taylor and her daughter Paige are in Nashville this weekend before Taylor has to fly back to New York with Paige in order to work with Max Martin.
Taylor called me yesterday and asked if Paige could spend the day with me while she worked in the studio.
Of course I immediately said Yes. Paige can be a trouble maker at times according to Taylor and Austin but she is such a sweet girl. She is very much like Taylor herself as well.
Taylor told me on the phone that Paige wouldn't put her guitar down and come to dinner the other night and we both laughed as it reminded us, me especially, of when Taylor was younger.
It's 9:30 and Taylor said she is dropping Paige off here around 10. I take muffins out of the oven, and then unlock the door for Taylor.

Mom was gracious enough to take Paige for the day so I could work in the studio with this one song that I am doing all by myself on this album.
I was writing last night, just a simple poem in my journal and then later it just came to me as a full melody.
I believe I am going to call the track This Love. As the lyric I have glued in my skull is "this love is good, this love is bad, this love is unlike back from the dead."
I also told Mom to talk to Paige about a development deal. For some reason Paige really wants to take the deal from Scott, and wait a year. However I believe she has too much talent to wait a year and I want her to maybe seek other options. As walking away from a development deal was one of the best things I have done.
Olivia leaps onto my bed meaning I need to get out of bed to feed her. When I get out of bed and head into the kitchen, I find Meredith laying right by their bowls as she is signaling me also.
Once I put dry food into their dishes, I make myself some coffee. Since it is holiday time I have peppermint flavored coffee, differing from my normal caramel coffee. I pour milk and 2 Sweet n' Lows into my mug before walking down the hallway to wake Paige up.
Paige hasn't been sleeping like she normally does. Normally she is a bear in hibernation when it comes to sleeping, I struggle to wake her up. However these past few days she has been up prior to me going to wake her up.
She won't tell me what is keeping her up at night, so she can't sleep. I am hoping she will either start sleeping like normal or she will come around to telling me why she cannot sleep.
I push her door open slowly and I am happy to see she is still asleep this morning.
I walk in quietly opening her shades to let the sunlight in. Paige begins to move around slightly in her bed.
"Time to get up darling." I say beginning to pull her covers off.
Not wanting to get out of bed she grabs them back with saying, "No Taylor, not time to get up." In a whining voice as if she was below the age of seven.
"Yes darling." I say, "And last time I checked my daughter wasn't 3"
That makes her laugh and she reluctantly sits up in the bed awake.
"What are we doing today Taylor?" Paige then asks. It's the first question she asks me almost everyday. She has a desire need to know what is happening every single second of every single day.
"Well I am going to the studio..." I say before she quickly interrupts.
"Can I come too? I want to come. Please Taylor." She begs.
