"Not leaving a clear trail for one to follow..."

Third Person P.O.V

Jungkook rushed home hoping he could see and scold Jin.
However, when he got home, Jin wasn't there as he said on the phone, neither was his mother.

He changed his clothes and sat on the couch waiting for Jin.

He waited, and waited.

Not even his mother got home.

He curled into a ball on the couch, his depression seeping in.

You'll forever be lonely!
No one cares about you!
Just die already!

He soon fell asleep with those words haunting him while tears streaked his face.

When he woke up, he saw Taehyung, smiling down at him and caressing his cheeks and wiping the tears from his eyes.
The tears he leaked in his sleep...

"Sorry, Jin couldn't be here today. He said he had something to do." Taehyung hesitated before continuing.
"He told me he's going to stop working at the café and that he was sorry, but please don't beat yourself up Kookie."

Jungkook jumped on Taehyung hugging him tightly and broke down into sobs.

"T-tae, please, d-don't leave me t-too."

"I won't... I promise."

The rest of the night consisted of Jungkook crying in Taehyung's arms until he fell asleep.

_______

When he woke up, Taehyung was gone and he was left hugging a cushion, soaked with his tears.

"He's gone, he left me..."

"No way I would, good morning."

Jungkook spun around and saw Taehyung walking towards him, his hands in his pockets.

"Taehyungie, I thought you left..."

"I promised that I wouldn't leave you. Now let's get you dressed, you have work."

Jungkook got up wiping his face and went in the bathroom to freshen up.

After Jungkook got ready, Taehyung stood close to the door with a sweet smile on his face.

"Ready?"

Jungkook nodded and wore a bright smile.

The two left the house. Jungkook did his usual, locking up the house and placing the keys under the doormat.

"You know that place is a common place people put their keys right? What if someone breaks in?"

"No one's going to rob us, me."

"Thieves are everywhere, how are you so sure no one is going rob you guys."

"Because, they all avoid me either ways."

They started to walk together to Jungkook's work place.

"Why?"

"Because they all think I'm weird. I don't know why."

"You're not weird to me, you're perfect."

Jungkook's heart skipped a beat and butterflies filled his stomach.

It was the first time someone called him that.

Perfect.

"Thank you Tae."

"Hmm?"

"For accepting me, thank you for that."

Jungkook gave Taehyung's his best smile.

Taehyung blushed but quickly recovered.

"Cute bunny smile."

"Yah!"Jungkook laughed.

It was music to Taehyung's ears.

"We're here, I'll talk to you later Tae."

"Okay, bye Kookie."
Jungkook blushed and quickly rushed inside the café with a large grin on his face.

"Good morning Jungkook, what got you smiling like this?" Hoseok teased.
Jungkook looked behind him and giggled thinking of Taehyung.
Hoseok tried looking at where he was looking but saw nothing.
"Silly, he left already." Jungkook told him.

"Was that Jin?"
Hoseok thought to himself.

But before he could ask Jungkook, he already went to change into his uniform.

"I guess I'll ask him later..."
