"From the harsh realities..."
Third Person P.O.V
Jungkook happily skipped into the Café with an eye shrinking smile on his face.
Hoseok returned the smile half heartedly as he uttered a good morning to the bubbly younger."Hey hyung!"
Jungkook waved and went to change his clothes.Right after Jungkook went to change his clothes, a group of males all walked in the café. Laughing and carrying on carelessly, disrespectfully ignoring Hoseok's greeting.
"Yo!"
One of them waved over at Hoseok.Hoseok being the nice employee he is, he went over to the group of delinquents.
"Yes sir, how may I help you?"
He asked as politely as possible."Why don't you guys wear skirts and shit." Another one said, the others laughing obnoxiously.
Hoseok kept his posture, waiting on the males to say what they wanted to order.
Jungkook soon came out of the employees room and walked in front of the cash register, wearily eyeing the group of males.
One of the males realized Jungkook was there and quickly averted their attention towards him.
Jungkook slightly shook as he hoped they wouldn't say anything to him.
Sadly, luck wasn't on his side. As usual he suppose."Look, it's coconut head!" They all laughed at the dumb insult.
Hoseok hissed as he shook in slight anger.
"Please don't say mean things." Hoseok said with an obvious fake smile.
"Look, his boyfriend is defending him."
"I always knew the little coconut head was a [redacted]."
Hoseok gritted his teeth.
"It's best if you stop assaulting hi-"
"Shut up,"
Hoseok sealed his lips and looked over at Jungkook shamefully.
One of the males got up and went over to the cash register where Jungkook stood.
Jungkook cowered in his spot as he awaited his cruel fate.
"Please..." He whimpered.
The others mocking him in a falsetto voice.
"So, coconut head."
"Yes?"
"Did you miss us?"
"..."
"So you're dumb now?"
"..."
"Speak up!"
"I'm sorry!" Jungkook cried as he clutched his chest, suddenly finding it hard to breathe.
Hoseok grew worried as he took in the younger's devastated appearance."Leave him-"
"We said to shut it moron!"
Hoseok frowned as he thought about all the possible things he could do to help Jungkook out of his predicament without hurting the customers.
"I'm going to-" Just as Hoseok was about to talk, one of the delinquents pulled Hoseok on his lap.
"You know, you look cuter when you're quiet. How about we go elsewhere and I teach you to have some manners?"
Hoseok grimaced and he pulled himself out of the male's grasp.
"No thank you. Now then, if you're not going to order anything, I'm going to ask you to leave, this is not a place for thugs or bullying, this is a café, stop disturbing the peaceful aura."
The males snorted and went back to teasing Jungkook.
"Say, coconut head, how's your friend? Jin?"
Tears obscured Jungkook's eyes as he looked away.
"So you know? Huh? Shithead?"
"Shithead! Shithead! Shithead! Shi-"
The others started chanting,
Hoseok punched the male in his nose causing him to crash unto the floor, gasping from shock and his now bleeding nose."You bastard! You're going to regret this!"
The other males got up, ready to gang up on Hoseok and Jungkook. Until, the manager finally decided to make his appearance.
"Well well well, if it isn't street rats. Picking on Jungkook again?"
The males began to murmur as they all filed out of the café and unto the streets.
"I'm sorry Hoseok, Jungkook. I didn't-"
"It's okay manager. The situation has been sorted."
They both looked at the boy shaking behind the cash register."Jung-" Hoseok started.
"Can I have the rest of the day off? I need to go home, please."
Jackson looked at Jungkook with pity.
"Okay, take care of yourself."
Without changing his uniform, Jungkook took his things and left without a word.
"Poor kid. Did they mention Jin?"
"Yea, he seemed shook after that."
"Totally understandable, I hope he gets over it one day."
Hoseok nodded.
"Hoseok-ah,"
"Hmm."
"You have feelings for him don't you?"
Hoseok blushed but quickly recovered."W-WHAT-"
"I can tell. Please, take care of him and make him forget about Jin. Please."
Hoseok could say something about that, he didn't believe he was capable of doing that.
He wasn't even capable of protecting him from his bullies.
So Hoseok simply nodded his head, making an agreement he told himself he'd never be able to do.
