Stirring awake, you slowly opened your eyes. A bright light blinded you as you tried to adjust. Slowly getting up you tried to remember what happened.
"I-I'm alive?" You muttered as you looked around the room. It definitely wasn't your room.
Thinking about it, what if you were a prisoner? What about Kuriza? Quickly getting out of the bed, you noticed you had a white flowing gown. Just as you were about to start searching for a weapon, the door opens. Showing your leader, his son and a doctor. Quickly saluting, you watched as Kuriza ran up to you and hugged your leg. Looking down you saw as Kuriza looked up to you with moist eyes.
"I-I thought you were gonna die!" He cried as he buried his face in your leg.
Giving him a light smile, you gently sat down on your bed and picked him up. Holding him close, you comforted him.
"Don't cry my lord. I'm just glad it was me and not you."
As he eased up in your hold, you wiped some stray tears from him. Hearing a throat being cleared, you look back up to your lord. Giving him your full and undivided attention.
"You did well (f/n). My son told me of how fiercely you fought. You even sacrificed your own body to make sure he was unharmed. Even unconscious, you protected him. You have my gratitude. And as for the scum that attacked you both, they have been disposed of."
Feeling prideful of the compliments, you smiled at him. Shifting his gaze lightly, he coughed in his hand and called Kuriza.
"Kuriza, we must leave. (F/n) has to rest."
Nodding his head, Kuriza got off you and went back to his fathers side. As you bid them farewell, the doctor urges you to lay down.
"The healing pod did heal your outer injuries, but you still need to rest. If you don't Lord Frieza will have my head. Your really lucky to be in favor of our lord."
Tilting your head in confusion, you asked.
"What? Favor? You must be confused. I'm just like any other soldier. I'm replaceable."
"I don't think so my dear." He said as he looked around the room.
Leaning in closer to you, he spoke in a hush voice.
"Don't tell anyone I told you. But from what I heard and witnessed, you are not as replaceable as you say you are. When Lord Frieza heard of the attack of the human zoo, he went down personally. I heard from one of the soldiers, Lord Frieza completely annihilated them. He was also the one who brought you to me. And demanded that I heal you immediately. So please relax."
The doctor said as he rushed out the room. Laying there in bed, you thought about he said. Was it true? Were you now someone irreplaceable to Lord Frieza? The thought was too good to be true to your opinion. Sighing, you rolled on your side and drifted of to sleep. Not wanting to dwell on fantasy's.
