Making your way towards Kurizas room, you smiled to yourself contently. Today you were planning on teaching him fighting techniques. You wanted to teach him before he became old enough to spar. So he could also have an advantage against an enemy.
Maybe for today you could teach him how to set up and escape from a choke hold. Seems like the best thing to learn first before learning how to gut the opponent.
Turning into a different hallway filled with soldiers, you sighed. You forgot how crowded this hall could get around this time. But this was the fastest route to Kurizas room. Walking casually, you couldn't help but notice soldiers moving out of your way. It was weird.
In your mind, something was off. These soldiers wouldn't move out of the way for you before. So why would they move now.
As you thought deeply about it, you didn't realize the soldier ahead of you. Bumping into him from behind, you snap back into reality.
"Hey! Watch it-" The soldier hissed as he turned his head to face you.
The moment his gaze falls upon you, all color drains from his face.
"Oh- I'm sorry for bumping into you. I was lost in thought." You quickly apologized.
"No- No! Please it was my fault for being in your way my lady! Please forgive me!"
Before you could utter a response, the soldier left your sight faster than Burter did carrying Jeices piano up his apartment. Standing there in utter confusion, you look around to the other soldiers. Only to find them avoiding your gaze or hastily moving away from you.
"What's going on?" You muttered under your breath.
As you continued down the hall, everyone around you was avoiding you like the plague. What happened to make them act like this?
You needed answers.
Looking for someone to scare a confession from you scanned the room. Finding a small shaking soldier near a wall, he seemed like the perfect candidate. Walking towards the soldier, you trapped him in place with your arms on each side of him. It's been a while since you've last intimidated someone. You were hopeful that you still had some intimidation left.
"What the hell is going on. Why is everyone avoiding me soldier."
"W-Whatever do you mean my l-l-lady?" The soldier stuttered nervously as he press his back hard against the wall. Failing to back away from you.
Glaring at him you smacked the wall next to him.
"Don't call me, 'my lady' I am a soldier. I worked hard to get to where I am with blood, sweat, and the corpses of my enemies. I am not a lady of some noble and rich origin. Now answer my question soldier. Why is everyone avoiding me."
"B-But my l-lady-"
"Lady (f/n) what are you doing to that soldier?" A familiar voice asked besides you.
Turning away from the soldier in front of you, you find Ginyu standing there.
"I'm asking him a question."
"Then may I answer the question in his stead lady (f/n)." Ginyu asked as he sent you a smile.
Thinking about it for a bit, you let out a sigh before releasing the soldier. Hearing him scurry away from you both, you looked up at Ginyu.
"Why are the soldiers avoiding me. And what is up with the whole, 'My Lady' schtick. They should know how to speak to a superior."
"It's not a schtick lady (f/n). Once word got around about you and Lord Frieza... well all soldiers must treat you differently. It would be a sign of disrespect if we don't. Especially when it comes to Lord Frieza's partner."
"Ugh... but must you guys really call me lady? It's sounds too prim and proper for a barbarian like me. I'm not worthy of such a title."
"You are far too modest lady (f/n). A real barbarian would be someone like Dore or Turles. Though the difference between the two is that Turles is an intelligent brute, while Dore is an all around brute with no brains."
"Ginyu- Can't you guys just call me by my name."
"That will be a firm rejection from me. I must abide the rules and so must my men. We must set the example for other soldiers." Ginyu finished calmly.
"So that means for the rest of my life until death... you guys will call me..."
"Lady. You hit the nail right on the head."
"Will you guys also avoid me like the other soldiers..."
"No lady (f/n). We the Ginyu Force shall be under your command as well. Though we cannot allow ourselves to be too close to you... Lord Frieza is quite a possessive man. You should know, since you already have first hand experience of that from the banquet."
Remembering the bedroom scene from the banquet, you felt your face heat up. You could still feel Frieza's lips on your neck. Feeling a shiver run down your body at the memory. Instinctively covering your neck with your hand, you turned your gaze to the floor.
"You're quite right on that Ginyu. Frieza is a... possessive man... not that I mind..." You muttered under your breath.
"What was that lady (f/n)?"
"Nothing! I was just speaking to myself!"
"Oh. Alright... Now do you have anywhere you have to be? So I may escort you."
"I'm heading over to Kurizas room actually. I'm going to teach him how to start and escape a chokehold."
"That sounds like a marvelous idea. Maybe next time you should bring him down to the training area. Racoom will be more than willing to show off some of his wrestling moves."
"Oh, that sounds like a great idea Ginyu! Sure, we'll drop by tomorrow."
"Wonderful. I'll start preparing for tomorrow then. For now let me walk you to Lord Kurizas room." Ginyu finished as he lead the way.
You couldn't wait to tell Kuriza the good news for tomorrow. He'll be so excited to find out!
