This one is super short but I was really inspired by Tony's love for classic rock (because I'm a  HUGE classic rock song nerd as well) so I decided to write a small one about one of my favorite Queen songs haha That and it was also inspired by the new movie based on them (which I'm so excited about!)

So I hope you enjoy it!

Enjoy~

Tony tinkered away at some new machine he was working on- hoping it would hopefully turn out to be something he could use and not something he'd have to scrap or give to a charity that would use it for the complete opposite thing he built it for- with his radio blaring his favorite station of music. He whistled and hummed along with the songs he knew so well- per the usual for billionaire, genius, playboy, philanthropist- when the song changed and excitement roared through him. "Ah, hell yeah! Crank it up, J," he shouted as he wheeled himself out from underneath the heavy machine and jumped to his feet.

"As you wish, sir," the AI system responded politely and began to turn the music up a few octaves.

Gripping the wrench in his hand as the voices began to sing in the harmonizing sounds of a group, "can anybody find me, somebody, to love". Tony harmonizing directly along with the singers as if he were one of them, himself. "Lord! Somebody, ooooh, somebody! Can anybody find me, somebody, to love?" Microphone (wrench) in hand, head lowered with eyes closed, freehand raised in the air as his foot tapped against the floor with the beat, the billionaire sang as if his life depended on it causing his friend across the lab groan in aggravation.

"Is that really necessary, Tony? I mean...every time? I know you like this song and all bu-" without a misstep, Tony wheeled his chair over to Bruce with fervor, wrench still in hand. As he stopped right in front of Banner's table, Tony gave him a skeptical, condescending look, interrupting his complaining. "Do you even know who this is, Jolly Green Giant?" his nickname making Bruce roll his eyes, annoyed, but the question still stood and before an answer could be given- as the music was building- Tony hopped off of his chair and found a way onto Bruce's work table.

Knocking a few things around, the "rock-star" began to sing along with the group once more, performing a masterful piece before his friend. "Tony, please! Just get o-"

"Queen, Nerd Alert! It's Queen! We always take time to rejoice in the voice of Freddie Mercury, understand," Tony interrupted Bruce once again, pausing his singing to explain, but just long enough to do so then going directly back into his "show". At this point, he was on his knees practically screaming the lyrics along with the band, Banner standing in front of his science friend with a blank expression.

Crossing his arms, after removing his glasses, Bruce huffed, "you better be lucky I'm learning to control the other guy because he's getting really tired of your shows, Stark." Head in his hand, Bruce rolled his eyes. After a bit longer of watching Tony sing his heart out- alone nonetheless- he heard the door swish open and he peered around his loud friend to see you standing there. "Thank God, (y/n). I'm so glad you're here. Please, stop this nonsense."

Tony continued to rock out as his eyes were squeezed shut in pure ecstasy of the music, but he scoffed at his friend, "funny, you think you're really smart- using how I feel about (y/n) against me," then he opened his eyes and pointed directly at Bruce with a confident expression, bouncing along to the music on his knees, "but I'm not falling for that one again, Banner! You gotta be smarter than that to continue using the same old humiliation tactic against me." Tony was certain he was fine and continued to enjoy his loud music in his over-dramatic way, throwing his arm around like he was playing the guitar expertly- that was until he heard a giggle behind him. His body immediately tensed up and his eyes widened unexpectedly.

Bruce chocked on his laughter, noting Stark's expression and holding his hand over his mouth slightly. "Quite the show you and Freddie Mercury hold, Mr. Stark. I likely would've paid at the door but I wasn't aware there was a show happening tonight, of all times," you teased lightheartedly as you giggled again, noticing how stiff the man on the table had gotten.

Clearing his throat, Tony straightened out his shirt slightly then pulled his legs out from underneath him, turning around to look at you with a stoic and serious expression. "Hello, (y/n), I didn't know you'd be joining us so soon," he explained casually as if you hadn't said anything or seen anything out of the ordinary. He watched you closely hoping that you hadn't heard any certain words he didn't want you to hear. As he coughed, he covered his mouth then looked around awkwardly, "so, uhm, how much of that were you there for, exactly? Like, do I need to repeat any moves that might've been missed, or.." Tony questioned curiously trying to divert the conversation away from what he had said about you.

Smirking knowingly at the handsome billionaire you placed one arm over your chest and the other rested its hand against your chin, "why don't you come down from that table and we'll talk all about what I saw." With this, Tony looked away as if pondering something but soon followed direction and slid off of the table to stand before you with his usual playful smile. "And maybe we can also breach the subject of this 'thing you feel' for me, sound good, big guy" you added with a smile as you stood next to him, wrapping your arms around one of his then tapping a finger against the arc reactor in his chest, noticing how he stiffened again.

Tony coughed once again, a deep red blush staining his cheeks but he nodded nonetheless, "y-yeah, yes. Absolutely. I think that's an interesting idea, indeed..." he trailed off shyly as you both began to walk out of the lab. On your way out of the door, however, Bruce heard Tony asked, "seriously, how did I do though? Do you think I did the song justice? I always put my best into those Queen songs, ya know? They're just the best, I really want to do Freddie proud."
