NOLAN'S POV

After I talked to Jess, I decided to discuss my future with Dad . She knows me too well .She has always been on my side through bad and good times. I really don't deserve such a fabulous girl to be my bestfriend. Whatever I try to do for her seems to be less compared to what she has done for me. I can't imagine a day without seeing her and talking to her. 

She is the most stubborn girl i have met. She isn't like other girls who try to be perfect in all sense or strive to be popular and centre of attention.Yes she is popular in school but for all good reasons ie for her kind nature,personality,good heart.I always call her Santa Claus because she strives to bring a smile on everyone's face even though she is hurting inside. I can't see her sad; It pains my heart and I'll do whatever I can do to cheer her up.

She is a tough girl and strong hearted..She has a big golden heart but everyone seem to not see it like I see .Sarah and me are always very protective about her because eventhough she is stubborn and strong , she is very emotional and sensitive towards her loved ones.A small fight with them and bam! she is upset for the day.Sometimes its cute but other times its infuriating because she keeps things bottled up and does not want to show because she doesn't want us to worry. But thats what bestfriends ar efor.Being there for one another in times of sorrow and happiness .

I always wonder what if we were more than friends but then realize there is obviously someone way better than me for her. No matter what I will stand beside her maybe just friend . I don't mind. She believes in me even though my own Dad doesn't.

The next morning , I confronted Dad. I told him what Jess had suggested me . Dad did not approve at first but after a long discussion with Mom and a lot of debating , he agreed on one condition that I had to attend tonight's party aka business dinner which was hosted by one of the most influential person , Mr.William Adams, who had recently moved here.I was astonished that Dad had actually said yes and I could finally chase my dream without any complications in my way.I had finally got a chance to pursue acting so there was no harm saying yes to a stupid party. 

I left for school texting Jess to meet me near the school front gate.She replied that she would be there in a bit. I leaned near my bike but when I saw Jess approaching, a big smile formed on my face.It was only beacuse of her that I could get into acting school with Dad's consent.I don't know what I would have done if I didn't have her in my life.Damn she is looking nice today.That smile is to die for. Woah did I just say that . She is your bestfriend. Keep it together Nolan.

It was as if she could read my mind.She might have got the hint.She gave me a tight bear hug which I like .It really calms me and I just feel really wonderful. She is  indeed my bestfriend.I lifted her up and spun around thanking her and laughing. She couldn't stop giggling.I felt happy to see her finally happy.She was feeling down yesterday; I don't know the reason behind it but I tried to cheer up but all in vain. Today seeing her smile again just made my day. I told her everything , every detail. 

"Do you want to come to that stupid party? " I asked her. I really don't want to get bored there alone. Having my bestfriend beside me would really be fun . 

"Umm....Sorry I can't . Sarah is coming over tonight for girl's night. But I am sure you could get someone interesting there . Chill it won't be that boring.Have fun." She hugged again. Her lovely hugs would never be enough for me.I want her to be in my arms always .Keep it together Nolan. What if she doesn't feel more than friends.You would complicate your friendship or maybe even lose her  . Don't mess this up. So she being beside me is just enough .For now
