Chapter 7

La Di Da...

JESSICA'S POV 

After talking to Nick , I headed home. Nick was kind enough to drop me home. When we arrived at my house, Sarah's car was parked at the driveway . I smiled instantly. I have a lot to talk with her. First of the date with Nicky and secondly Nolan.

I texted him -  'hey :) '   I hope he replies because he hasn't talked to me after the secret admirer thing. God I hate to upset him. But what made him upset?

"Thanks .Bye. " I waved goodbye to Nick . He smiled and drove away.

"Mom, I am home." I yelled.

"Sweetie..Sarah is in your room . I have made some sandwiches for my girls.Take them. " Mom called. 

"Yup" I took those yummy sandwiches and kissed my mom's cheeck. She is simply best. 

When I opened the door , I saw Sarah sitting cross legged in Indian style on my bed and watching Castle. Ah! I love that show. Everyone loves Castle...Richard Castle yeah! and you can't simply ignore the smart detective Beckett .She is damn gorgeous :)

When Sarah saw me or I must say the sandwiches, she instantly marched towards them.

Damn Pig!  

I slapped her hand away and grinned ear to ear. "Don't you dare touch these." I smirked.

"Jessicaaaa please pretty please. I am damn hungry .You should not say no to a hungry beautiful girl who hasn't eaten anything since morning. " she pouted. 

" Liar . You just ate like an hour ago. " 

She gasped dramatically.Such a drama queen. I continued," You have to do what I say for a day and these pieces of heaven are all yours. " Payback time ! Bwahaha...

She rolled her eyes and said " Fine " and snatched the plate.

"Tomorrow you have to go on a date with Nick " I winked.

She choked and coughed. " A... What....??? " I patted her back. 

"You are going on a date with Nick Grayson tomorrow night. " 

She looked like she was about to throw up. "Lame joke Jessica, really lame . I am not going with him. He is just a friend so chill out lady. "

" Why? Whats wrong with Nicky? " I huffed.

"He is ... well he is.. he is Nick . It will never work out between us . Like ever."

"How can you be so sure? " 

" I .... I know.. he.. its.. "

"No reason . Look give him atleast one chance. He is a very sweet and honest guy .Go on this one date with him and get to actually know him better. I am damn sure you won't regret it." I said with puppy eyes. I know she can't say no.

"But...I don't know Jessicaa..." She huffed.

"Come on . One date won't harm anyone .Don't be a chicken. You do know he is a great guy. He has always been there for you and done so many things for you. You are stupid not to give him atleast one chance to prove it to you. "

"Are you his lawyer or something ? Why are you so eager for this ? "

"Because he is the best one for you. And also because I am an awesome bestfriend. I want you to be truly happy with someone who is willing to love you entire life. I know we are too young for thinking that but come on everyone wants a stable relationship." She softened.
