Chapter 5: It wasn't right
Amy’s POV:
I watched her walk away in the different direction. It wasn’t right.
Roxie was a party girl and she didn’t lock up in herself much.
Actually there was only one time when she did.
**********************FLASHBACK 2 YEARS AGO**********************
“Roxie, talk to me!”-I shouted while watching her walk away from me.
I grabbed her shoulder. Nobody walks away from me like that, especially not my best friend!
“What Amy?”-she said automatically. She turned around and I saw the pain in her eyes. It was there for almost 3 days now. I could really see that something happened. And it wasn’t good!
“Did Harry break up with you or something?”-I asked. But I couldn’t see why that would hurt her. She is 15 years old. She had many boyfriends before and she has never even been sad over that.
“First of all, I broke up with Harry a week ago.”-she said. And I could see she didn’t give much shit about that. I mean she always stayed friends with her exes.
“Then what’s wrong girl?”-I asked concerned.
“It’s nothing Amy.”-she said quietly and I saw her eyes start to water up.
“Oh c’mon I can clearly see something is wrong. I’m your best friend you can tell me.”-I told her.
“It’s just…”-she started sobbing but pulled herself together.
“Amy… dad got in a car crush. He is gone Amy.”-she said in a serious voice and burst into tears.
“Oh no!”-I said and pulled her in a hug.

I remember that time clearly. It was so hard for her. She was broken but she had to be strong.
After all she had to pull up her family too. Lauren, her mum, was really down most of the time, Nora was only 11. Roxie tried the best she could and more. She even got a part time job to help her mother.
Roxie was a fighter and everything went back to normal soon. Almost.
