Chapter 8: Party Up

Roxie's POV

"Please Rox!"-Dan begged next to me.

We've been watching Mean Girls for half an hour now. Amy and Louis were not paying any attention to the movie, they were too busy whispering and cuddling on the sofa.

I however was pretending to be interested in the movie. But what amused me the most was that Dan was being so miserable about watching this that he kept begging me to do something else.

"Look Dan! Those four are my inspiration!"-I said in a hyper voice.

"Well, you are better than them. Plus I don't think you would like to be hit by a bus!"-he said. Aww he though I was better.

Oooops not supposed to think in that way! I mentally slapped myself.

"Wait what? We didn't even get to the part with the bus yet! Oooh I know your secret bitch!"-I exclaimed. Dan's face flushed red.

"Tell it to anyone and I will..."-he started but I didn't let him finish.

"Ladies and gentlemen 1-0 to Roxie!"-I cheered and bowed to nobody in particular.

"I swear to God you are so weird!"-Dan said with a sight.

After giving him a disapproving look, I resumed back to watching the movie.

About five minutes after I felt something pinch my side.

"Please Roxie?"-Dan said again.

"What is there a part in this movie that you are going to start crying or giggling or something?"-I asked with one eyebrow up. He looked at me with a pleading look but I just shook my head.

"Pretty, pretty please!"-He said again. I turned my head slightly and saw about the cutest puppy face ever.

Breathe Roxie Breathe. And we're good!

"Fine then!"-I was about to ask him what he meant when he paused the movie and ran away with the tv remote.

"You bastard! Come back with my tv remote!"-I screamed chasing after him.

He sprinted up the stairs and I heard a door slam. I followed up but I couldn't figure out which room he was in. I checked my room first..nothing all clear. 2 guest rooms..nothing.

There was a noise in the bathroom. Aha! Gotcha!

I opened the bathroom door and found that the shower curtain was closed.

"There is no way you can slip away now!"-I said getting closer to the curtain.

I pulled it back..and it was empty! I heard laugher from behind me. I turned around just to find a laughing Dan running out of the bathroom.

"Dan Lawrence! You are a dead man!"-I screamed while I chased him.

By this time Amy and Louis snapped out of their lovey-dovey phase and watched us with amused expressions on their faces.

Dan might have been smart, but I am sneaky! When he wasn't looking a walked behind him and jumped on his back.

We fell to the floor with a loud crash. I sat on him while he was half laughing half cursing.

"All that for a tv-remote?"-he asked.

"Yes. Now I'll be taking that. Thank you very much."-I said and snatched the remote from him.

Amy was in fits of laugher on the floor. Louis was trying to keep serious but failed bad!

I kept on sitting on Dan. And then an idea hit me. I could picture that lightbulb they have in cartoons above my head. Yup I'm that awesome.
