Road Trip

Day Two

"Bea! What the hell are you doing?" Max yelled at me. I was currently standing on the top of a cliff ready to jump. My heart was beating hard and I could feel the adrenaline rushing through me. I looked at Max and he was just watching me.

"I'm going to jump. Without you." I yelled back at him. He looked hurt but I turned away before I could see his face. I took a deep breath and let it out. 'Here I go." I said to myself. I took a few steps back and then ran forward. I jumped off the cliff and hurled forward. I screamed right before I hit the water. I surfaced and swam to the shore. "You slow poke." I said to Max. He laughed and I poked his stomach. "Race you to the top!" I yelled already running.

Dom, the twins, Max and I had all found a litle cove to do some cliff jumping. It's the second day and we have been driving for 3 hours and saw this little rest stop.

Max caught up to me on the little path up to the cliff. Being as graceful as me I tripped when he put his arms around me and being so agile and perfect didn't trip and just watched me fall.

"Maaaax!" I said rubbing my butt. "Thanks for nothing." I said standing up. He looked very amused but I could tell Tuck was beating him up about letting me fall. The internal battles are so awkward to watch.

"Anyway," Max said. "Let's go sweet cheeks." He grabbed my hand and we began walking up the path again.

"Hey Sweet Cheeks!" Dom mocked Max. The twins were skipping and holding hands.

"Hey no need to poke fun." I said crossing my arms.

"They'll never understand." Max said as he crossed his arms and stood in position similar to mine.

"Sure whatever love birds." Seth said. I laughed. He was standing precariously on the edge of the cliff.

"See ya." I said as I pushed him off the cliff. He let out a very girly scream. What a dink.

"I'm coming Seth!" Drew yelled as he jumped off the cliff like a chicken with it's head cut off. Dom rolled his eyes.

"By Bea!" Max said. He pushed me but I got ahold of his hand. I laughed as we fell through the air and he pulled me to him. We hit the water but stayed under. I swam around before Max pulled me to him and kissed me. I let out a big air bubble and we both watched it float to the surface. We swam to the top just as Dom landed right next to us.

"Holy sith!" I said. Max had grabbed me out of pure fright.

After everyone was cooled off and we got some energy out we all dried off and got dressed. The van had gotten very hot while we were cliff jumping and when we got in the twin groaned.

"You to complain so much." Dom said. He pulled Drew's hair and laughed at his face. I made a sad face at them and they stuck their tongues out.

"Only an hour to our next hotel!" Max announced as he hopped into The Voyager. We all cheered and he started The Voyager.

An hour in a van with four boys is very interesting. Thankfully none of them farted. But they did have a really gross burping contest. I opted for cranking the music and rolling down the windows. The radio was mostly in Spanish but there was a channel full of rap in English. It was weird but we all thought it was pretty funny because they had really old rappers.

Dom rapped along to a couple songs with me and Max rapped solo. The twins didn't know a lot of the songs but they pretended they did.

When we finally got to the hotel we were on the top floor. Room number 780-782. They were connected rooms. There was also a pool on the roof open at all hours. At around 10:30 we ordered pizza and are it on the roof.

It was around 12:30 when I started feeling drowsy. Max and I were cuddled in a big chair across from Dom and the twins. The sky was full of stars we've never seen before and I fell asleep looking at an especially bright star with Max's voice droning on talking to Dom and the twins.

Okay don't hate me for this one being really short but I'm not sure how to plan this out so this is just to hold you over 😉
