Jax's POV:
As soon as Hallie passed out, I reached out and grabbed her. Running into the living room, I yelled at Tommy to call 911. I layed her down on the couch and checked her pulse. Thank god she's alive. After the EMT's got there, hauled her into a stretcher, and drove away, I got in my own car and drove after them. I sat in the waiting room Tommy and his dad for hours. Waiting for a nurse to come in and say she'd be alright. As soon as one did, we all stood up and followed her. When we got in the room, I saw her laying in a bed, eyes closed. She had wires and machines attached to her arms, stomach, and chest. I hated seeing her like this, especially because I couldn't do anything about it. I walked over to her bedside and waited for her brother and dad to leave.
"Hey, Jax, we're gonna get something to eat," Tommy said, walking out. I nodded and looked back at her. The nurse walked back in,
"Excuse me, Miss, you never told me what happened to her. Could you tell me, please?" I asked, standing up,
"And who are you?" She asked, raising an eyebrow,
"I uh...I'm her best friend. I saw her pass out," I said nervously, stuffing my hands in my pockets,
"Very well, she's been starving herself for a few weeks, so she passed out because she was starving," The nurse explained, writing things down on her clipboard. My heart leaped when I saw her gorgeous eyes flutter open.
