The Hotel

When we went through the door we found ourselves in a hotel room. When we walked in, I noticed that with every step I took I felt an eery feeling become stronger and stronger. We just stood in place for the longest time looking at everything that was in view.

"It looks like we are in a hotel hallway," Jackson said.

Christian gave Jackson a look saying "really" "Well duh! What else does it look like? A fair?!"

I ignored them, I heard them do these stupid fights before. So while they continued fighting, Emily and I looked around some more. When we did, we saw that the number on the door across the hall read 237.

"Emily, I don't think that 237 is a real hotel number. Am I right?" Emily thought for a second and then shook her head.

"No you're right, I don't know why a hotel would have a nonexistent room though." I looked at it wondering if we should go in, oh well screw it.

"Let's go in." Emily looked at me like I was out of my mind,

"Are you insane?! We don't know what's in there! What if there is a creepy doll just waiting behind that door ready to kill us and it would be holding a knife that has bl-"

"EMILY! CALM DOWN!" She snapped out of her panic and looked at me terrified.

"Right, sorry I just don't like this floor" I looked at her with pity and tried to walk through the door when I remembered.... the boys. They were still fighting.

"Christian! Jackson! Stop fighting or I'm going to leave you behind!" They both shut up but still glared at each other. We walked into the room to see Lika sitting there, on the bed looking as with a smirk across her face.

"What took you guys so long? It's just a door. Or are you too scared of what my father might do to you?" I was about to lunge at her but Christian held me back. "Tsk, tsk, tsk, I wouldn't do that if I were you 'cause you see, my father sent me to tell you the rules. Yes, there are rules and you should be grateful that I am telling you." I will just tell you this, if looks could kill, she would explode everywhere! We were all giving her the same sharp glare as she spoke. "Rule #1: You cannot hurt me or my father..." She smirked, looking at me after she said that which made me even more pissed than I already was. She continued, "Rule #2: You have to do everything that we say or we WILL kill everyone that you love." She paused looking at all of us before saying the rest, "Finally rule #3: Don't hurt each other!" Hold up why does she care what happens to us? As if reading my mind Christian asked the same question.

"Why do you and Pyron care about our well being?" She gave it some thought before speaking,

"I can't share anything right now but what I can say is that all of the goodness in you will evaporate after a few of these floors." I stared at her in horror as her ear-to-ear smirk grew wider and wider. "It's time for me to go now, so I will leave you to it!" She then walked out of the room, followed by a clicking noise and then silence. I tried to open the door to see where she went but it was locked.

"Seriously?! She had to lock it?" I turned back around to see everyone looking around the room. "What are you looking for?"

Jackson looked at me "What do you think, we are looking for the cards!"

"Ok Jeez..."

"I'm sorry I guess I'm just scared of what might happen to us." We all looked at each other pitifully but knew we needed to get out of here so we kept looking.

"Guys I think I found something!" Emily shouted. We followed her voice to a hallway, wait how did we get from a room to a hallway? We didn't go out of a different door. Anyways we found out that what Emily found was a waitress just standing there smiling straight ahead. She wore a black and white waitress uniform and black wedges that protected her feet. At first, she was just smiling, looking straight ahead. Then she looked at us, still smiling. Christian leaned over to whisper in my ear.

"Something feels off about her, we should be careful."

"I know, I have a bad feeling about her too." Jackson walked up to her trying to get her to do anything other than just stand there.

"Hey! Are you alive?!" Nothing. "Can you help us get out of here?!" Still nothing. I decided to try and talk to her,

"Umm... Excuse me? Can you help us find a room to stay in?" She looked at me and said,

"Of course! What type of room are you looking for?" I thought a little while before answering,

"One with card games to play please? We get awfully bored!" I winked at her, it seemed like she got the message because she nodded and walked away saying "Follow me"

We followed her for a good while before she led us to a room that had the numbers 413 on it. She opened the door and showed us in "Make yourself at home, and have a good rest. You'll need it" She smiled before closing the door.
