I woke up in a panic, swatting at the air like there was someone I was trying to hit away. Hands gripped my wrist and pulled them down.

"Hey, cool it Nash ." the voice commanded, the voice was one that i'd haven't heard in a long time, it was shark. Shark was a really good friend of mine who moved away from the town during the last year of elementary school. His real name was Tristan but his nickname was shark because of his temper. He looked older than me. I pulled my wrist away and accidentally slipped upward and got him in the forehead.

"Sorry." I was so embarrassed, but at the same time happy to see my friend. He just smiled. I felt my face going red. He saw and chuckled, between laughing a few bursts of laughter he said.

"Look at... your bubbly.... Little self, just how you were when we were' kids Nash." I hadn't heard that nickname in so long, not even my family knew about that.

"Really, shark why do you constantly bring that back." he was still wearing his sunglasses. All the commotion brought  Hoodie into the room. When Hoodie burst through the door shark jumped up and hit his head on the metal frame of the bunk bed.

"What are you two doing in here...." Hoodie stopped as shark fell sideways onto the floor holding his head and laughing. Shark laughing caused me to laugh which caused Hoodie to laugh. After all the laughing was done and over Hoodie's face went grim.

"What's wrong hoodie?"

"Shark and you need to come down stairs, connor has something to tell you."

"Okay, I'll just go down." I stood up and walked to the door and down the stairs. Connor was holding papers from a few different places. One of them was from the hospital, the next one was from the prison and the very last paper was a letter from his mom and dad. Connor looked up and said.

"November sit down one of these papers you read on your own the other two are ones You need to hear."

"Okay." I was getting nervous, last time I got a paper was when I got a letter from the corner about my parents. Connor looked down and was starting to read every word came out shakier than the last.

"The Pshyc said that you have C.I.P.A, Bipolar, multiple personas, PTSD and ocd. Kid all I can say is you are as screwed as Hoodie and the rest of us." A smile flashed across Connor's face. I already knew that, but all of the boys in my family have at the least one mental issue. Connor started up again.

"All of our family and you, we're related to shark and my parents said for shark to come and live with us permanently." Any laughter and happiness was gone, the tone of the room settled into a thick feeling fog. I just sat there trying to keep a calm exterior.

"What do you mean were related, how many is that living here now."

"You, me,Ben,Jeff, jack, surrender,Alivin,Gally, Jim, Cal, Abbadon, luke, luka now Shark to."

"That's FOURTEEN teenagers in the house, when will you learn to many is to many?"

"Till y'all quit gettin kicked from your parents place." the remark came with a childish and taunting smile. He always did that just to be a tease. After that Connor's smile went away as he eyed the paper labeled Rock Island county jail Connor started to read the paper out loud. To make a long story short all of us were invited to go to a family day that they're holding for kids with convict parents. I remember the day they hauled my dad off to jail.

It was on my birthday, Jeff,me and Liu our step brother and ben were upstairs throwing rocks at are neighbour. Then we heard a knock on the front door, my dad came upstairs telling us to go out the window and get to Jame's apartment and no matter what don't stop for anyone or anything or reason. I being my younger self questioned why my dad just told us to get away from the house. Then we heard our front door being knocked down and around a few three people running into the house yelling. My brothers knew more seeing as they are older than me and in general knew what my dad did when we were around. Liu,Jeff and me then hauled our asses out the window and across town to are older brother James apartment. By the time we got to his house he was waiting and pacing back and forth.

"Thank god, don't tell me they were there when you finally left." James sounded genuinely worried, Liu and Jeff took one look at James and said

"Not in front of our sister, don't be a idiot dad said don't talk about it infront of her." Said Liu,Jeff just nodded his head and pushed me towards the door of jame's apartment. Ben had ran back to his sister's house a few blocks from James apartment.

Once me and the boys were inside James got a call from Ben and his sister. She was talking in a fast tone instructing James to turn on the news and just listen. So being James and full of the curiosity he turned on the tv, what I heard next never prepared me for the hell on earth that my life would explode into in a few mear hours.

On the Tv showed my dads face with the caption 'Major DEA drug lab bust' things that followed were how he'd been running the lab for years and how they knew that he was hiding it for years but covered his track to a almost untrackable level. But he got messy and slipped up ultimately leading to his capture and seizure of his lab and the rest of his life.

Before I could hear anymore Jeff told me to go into the next room and grab a pen. I did as Jeff asked but the thought of what they were saying just was on a endless replay inside my head. James was getting calls left and right of my other siblings and family asking if me and my brothers were safe. James ended saying that everything was fine to make a attempt to settle the ruling of family calling.

We kept watching the news as the later the day went, they were talking about how he was going for a claim of how his life and kids lives were threatened if he didn't do what he was told. That's when the pieces started to come together.

My long flashback was interpreted as Connor said that we were going. Apparently that event was in a week, I haven't seen my dad in years, but through the years I've lost any belief I had in him as the years went on. In fact I've realized I've grown to despise my own dad, seeing as I was left to my thoughts and always thought about what he did and when he abused me and my brothers. That's when I realized that I lost faith in him a piece of trash as a person and a devil in disguise as a father. Maybe he can explain why he hid that for years or maybe just maybe tell us the truth now that we were older.
