Connor and Conan stood side by side in Amanda's garden. The atmosphere was tense, as they both cautiously approached her, eager to know which of them would be deactivated. Conan went to speak with her first.

"Good afternoon, Amanda. Would you like to hear what we have learned," he asked her in a determined tone.

"You failed," she replies bluntly.

This catches Conan off gaurd, causing him to briefly stutter, "W-well, um, we did find out-"

"RK900, refrain from boring me with your pitiful excuses, for I do not wish to talk to a failure," Amanda directs her attention at Connor, which makes Conan imediatly look to the ground in pure shame, "Now Connor, I'm sure you have to say about what happened with that investigation?"

"Well, I-"

"Oh, you don't need to tell me, I think I can guess," amanda interrupts his attempt at redeeming himself, "you had an opportunity to catch the deviant that helped Markus," she pauses to give him a look of distaste before continuing, "You could have easily caught it, braught it back to the police station and question it. You could have learned so much from it. You potentialy could have halted the deviant uprising. However, instead of accomplishing your mission, you decided to help this worthless failure!" She points towards Conan, he balls his hands into fists and clenches his teeth, "So Connor, what I really want to know is why you did that."

"It... It didn't... feel right," Connor was flustered and Conan still had his face pointed toward the ground in humiliation.

Amanda sighed a disappointed sigh, "It appears that even my two most trusted and advanced androids have inevitably become deviant."

"I'M NOT A DEVIANT!" Connor yelled, "I swear, amanda, I'm not-"

This time ot was not amanda's sharp voice that cut him off, but the tears rolling down his cheeks. As he reached up to wipe them away, more would cascade down his face. This must be what it's like to feel emotion, he thought. Sadness. Anger. These feelings clouded his thoughts, as his tears clouded his vision. He was a deviants. After all this time of repression it, he finally accepted that he was not just a machine.

Amanda's detestable voice snapped Connor back to reality, "You two have both failed me, so therefore, you will both be deactivated."

"No," Conan exclaimed, quietly.

Please, amanda just give us one last chance," Connor was extremely scared now.

"Good bye, Connor. Good bye, Conan."
