I threw on my sky-blue polo shirt and black shorts that reached just below mid-thigh.
Physical Education had always been my prefered subject, mainly due to the fact that Jennifer was in the same class. I always beat her in every sport. You name it, she always lost and I never got tired of it.
She wasn't in any of my classes that you actually had to use you brain in, because, how can I say this nicely?... She was dumb.
"Hey Haze!" I heard from behind me, immediately recognising her irritating voice. I turned on my heel, to be rudely greeted by the fake smile that played on her plastic-filled lips.
Her Mom was a perfectionist, everything had to be perfect. So, when Jennifer turned 16, she offered her plastic surgery and of course, she took it. How she got away with that, I will never know.
"I could've sworn we weren't friends." I stated dryly, my face emotionless. She scowled at me.
"Aw, you still mad that I had sex with your the guy you liked when your back was turned?" She reminded me, batting her spider-lashes.
I glared at her, with hatred burning in my eyes, daring her to say anything else.
"Leave me the fuck alone before I break your nose." I deadpanned, taking a step towards her, looking her dead in the eye.
"Whatever, see you in P.E!" Flashing me the fakest smile one could muster, she turned and strode out of the changing room, swaying her hips as she went, in a very unattractive manner might I add.
Man, I hate her so much...
In case you're wondering who that tramp was, that's Jennifer. I'm not going to tell you much about her though because she's a waste of space.
Okay, I'll tell you.
We were best friends in Elementary, but when we moved up to Lakeside, she left me for the slut of the school, Payton (She isn't worth a description either).
After that, there were rumours flying around the school that she'd slept with Cain, who I'd had a crush on at the time. When the rumours were proved to be true, it hurt a lot.
The worst part however, was the fact that she knew how much I liked him.
But this was before Cain and I were dating, I know he wouldn't betray me like that now.
"Hey, we gonna get in there or what?" Violet questioned, snapping me out of me daydream, I hadn't even realised she'd walked over. I adjusted the ponytail on the top of my head and followed her into the sports hall.
We stepped into the room to see the girls at the left side of the hall and the boys at the right. That's New.
Violet and I walked over to join the girls, who were sat on a bench in the corner of the hall, no doubt talking shit about eachother.
I looked over to the boys' side, my eyes stopping at Cain's face. I threw a wink in his direction, which he returned with a smirk.
"Okay girls, today we're going to be joining the boys for a dodgeball tournament!" Mrs Myers announced enthusiastically. The cheers were audible throughout the hall.
"First the girls will split into two teams and they will go face to face. The winning team will go on to face the boys' winning team."
I looked over towards Jennifer, who was sitting next to Payton, smirking deviously right at me.
"Would anyone like to volunteer for team captain?" Mrs Myers asked, looking around the room.
Immediately, my hand shot up.
