My eyes would slowly open, I couldn't feel my arms or legs, I couldn't feel anything. I tried moving, the only thing that would respond to my actions was my neck and head, which would only turn to the left and right. My eyes widened in slight horror but more or less fear, the fallen angel, Vylad, Ice and Storm all laid on the ground, bleeding and cut up, their fur and skin tainted with a slight purple essence, it looked somewhat similar to me, it looked a lot like the shadow magic essence left behind from my magic I used when a demon. I recognized the essence was mine but didn't know how I had applied it.

I started hearing grunts from the various combatants, all besides Storm, I attempted to get up again, but my body still wouldn't respond, now my head wouldn't even let me turn to look at what was happening. The pounding of footsteps and yells would also start to get louder, they slowly started to ring through my ears, I would see Vesryn within his anthro form run into my field of view before I blacked out again from pain and blood loss.

My eyes slowly opened, I was back on my bed, but chained down as Vesryn sat beside me, another figure stood in the back, he looked almost human, except more than half of his body was covered in plate metal and one of his eyes looked robotic. I grunted and tried getting up, my body finally responding but simply held back by the chains that were holding me down.

"Luke, I would suggest you don't try and break out, we are already worried about you as it is and what you have done is really concerning" Vesryn responded to my attempt of trying to get up, staring at me with hurt yet concern in his eyes.

"Vesryn, if you were worried about me, you wouldn't have me chained up, it doesn't help me in any shape or form" I replied, looking at him with an annoyed look, making it really easy for Vesryn and the other figure to tell how I was feeling.

"I told you chaining him down was going to be a bad idea Vesryn" came the figure's voice as he approached me, grabbing the chains and ripping them off me with ease as his plate metal/robotic hands crushed them in his palms. I sat myself up straight and stretched, feeling my bones crack and pretty much all of my muscles stretch and feel at ease, I did still feel pain though.

"So...what happened, I remember waking up with everyone looking injured around me...did I cause this?" I looked at Vesryn and the other figure, my heart beating at a heavy rate, I was starting to get more worried and terrified I had killed them.

"You did cause it...we think, we aren't too sure, tell me, do you know anything about another being living within your body?" Vesryn asked me curiously, giving off an eased look and feel.

I shook my head, I had no idea what he was going on about at all, another being in my body just didn't seem logical to me, even if most things seemed illogical at this point.

"Who is he meant to be?" motioning my head towards the figure with the metal plates and robotic parts.

"This is Harland, although he used to be human, after a few experiments he went through as a child, he has turned into what he is today, he works with us and has been loyal for quite some time, he's a good man" Vesryn smiled as he turned to look at Harland, Harland would give me a slight nod and leave the room silently, the only thing I could assume was that he had other work he needed to attend to.

"Now back onto the main topic...considering you don't know, it seems to be that you have some sort of 'split personality', a demon of some sorts. Although we haven't established what it wants or how he works, we do need to figure out what is going on, I am surprised however that you don't even know about this" Vesryn explained to me, keeping a straight face the entire time.

I stared down at my legs and then stared at my hands, my brain swirled with this new information I had just been fed. "So...I have another person within my body...as if I am a host?" I asked curiously.

"It would seem so....this demon has already hurt Vylad and Ice a fair bit, Tabbris isn't hurt considering how tough he normally is, but Storm seems to be pretty cut up after what you have done to him" Vesryn explained, his face still straight and not showing a flinch of sadness nor happiness.

"Storm...." I mumbled to myself, worried about my friend, I shook my head, getting the thoughts of him being dead out of my mind, I looked at Vesryn, confused. "Who is Tabbris exactly?"

Vesryn stood up, "You will meet him soon, and once you do, it will be a good thing" Vesryn responded, turning to leave the room, getting to the door and stopping before leaving.

"Luke, one more thing."

"Yes?" I asked, confused.

"Learn about what is up with you, we don't need someone turning on our backs," he said bluntly and left the room, leaving me to think to myself.

Although that felt cold and harsh, I knew it was the truth, if I didn't learn to control whoever this was, I could seriously hurt more, or possibly kill whoever would try and face my 'split personality'.
