Chapter 14: The Grim Reaper and The Elder Dead Serpant!

This has been the journey so far...

The Elder Dead Serpent has been called to it's master. A battle between the dead and the living has begun in the skies, their blades echoes and mighty roars shakes the very heart of men... Who will come out victorious?

A terrifying roar was heard within the gray  clouds as a shadow of a giant raven is seen and a giant serpent flying right behind it as Yugo and the others watched while Ruel was in the middle of digging a hole.

Ruel: I'm not going to stand around and get eaten! You kids better get in here if you don't want to be snacks!

Percedel: R-Right!

Shushu: Hmph coward.

Soon Amalia and Evangelyne rushed towards the hole Ruel made with his shovel as Yugo was the last one to jump inside as a roar of the Dead Serpent was heard.

Percedel: What do we do now?

Ruel: I'd say we stay here and wait.

Evangelyne: What about (y/n)?

Ruel: What about him? He's the Devil!

Evangelyne: And how would you know?

Ruel: Uh... Because he stole my Kamas?

Evangelyne gave Ruel a look as she raised an eyebrow and asked.

Evangelyne: Really? Because he stole your Kamas? Not because he called a huge flying snake?

Ruel puts his hands under he bearded chin as he thinks.

Ruel: Hmm... Yea I guess that's scary then being robbed blindly- AHHHH!!!

Suddenly the ground shakes as Amalia poked her head out to see the Dead Serpent has wrapped itself around the rocky mountain they were on as you stood on it's head and shouted.

(y/n): WHO TOOK GOD'S LIFE WITHOUT MERCY?!? WHO SLAUGHTERED DEVILS WITHOUT HESITATION?!?! DO YOU REALLY THINK YOU CAN STAND AGAINST A CORPSE WITH MILLIONS OF SOULS?!? HA, I think not.

While above you, you see Kabrok diving down with his sword ready to plunge into your chest as you smiled and raised your scythe.

(y/n): AT LEAST YOU PUT UP A FIGHT... BUT YOU ARE NOT WORTHY TO BE MY OPPONENT!

You the tossed your scythe towards Kabrok as it split his giant raven in half as Kabrok begins to fall and panic... Your Dead Serpent opens it's jaws as it reaches out towards the remains of the raven as you leaped into the air and caught your scythe in your hand as you placed the blade around Kabrok's neck.

(y/n): BEGONE CREATURE!

You then tossed Kabrok to the very ground as it created a crater... Kabrok's helmet was destroyed as the smoke cleared and Yugo and the rest witness Kabrok now injured and weak on the ground as you landed a few feet in front of him.

(y/n): Kabrok the Black Raven... Hmmph... I was expecting you to he experienced in combat... Guess you are too old for this.

You then walked towards Kabrok with the blade of your scythe dragging across the ground... As you stood in front of him, you slowly raised your scythe over you as you spoke.

(y/n): May you find a better life in the kingdom of the the dead, and tell the Lord of Bones I said hello.

Kabrok did not say a word as you gripped the handle of your scythe tightly as you were just about to deliver the final blow... But a blonde Cra stood in front of you with her hand raised in front of you.

Evangelyne: That's enough!

(y/n): I beg your pardon, Cra?

Evangelyne: He's down, it's over!

(y/n): Over? It's over till my blade cuts him to bits!

Evangelyne: But you've already won! Killing him is going too far!

Your eye twitches in anger and annoyance as you spoke back to Evangelyne.

(y/n): If you think that this is going too far, then why the hell does the merchant wish a fight to the death?! Now move or-

???: NNNGH!!!

(y/n): What?

You looked river your shoulder to see Yugo is pulling on your cape as you just stared at Yugo... Then sighed as you raised your scythe and plunged it into the ground next to Evangelyne's feet as she jumped in horror as you crossed your arms.

(y/n): I'll let him live then... After all he has a wife. She's probably won't be be happy to hear-

???: KABROK!!!

You and everyone else including Kabrok flinched from the sudden yelling as you turned to see Kabrok's wife, Miranda.

(y/n): Ooh boy...

You then see Miranda walked towards Kabrok and sat beside him as she asked.

Miranda: I thought you were done adventuring?

(y/n)'s mind: WHAT?!?!? SHOULDN'T SHE BE WORRIED ABOUT HIM?!?! I ALMOST KILLED HIM FOR F*CK SAKES!!!

You then just see the two talk to each other like nothing happened, you just stood there as you felt a tap on your shoulder as you turn to see Percedel.

Percedel: We should get going.

(y/n): Already? Do we even know where to go?

Percedel: Of course! Kabrok dropped the map that we needed! And guess what? It talks!

(y/n): Really?

Percedel nods with a smile as he he starts walking away as Ruel and Amalia climbed out of the hole and they too started walking away as Amalia looked at you as if she's waiting for you to follow, but you waved at her that you'll catch up as she nods and follows the others as you felt a tug on your right arm.

You looked down to see Yugo, holding your right forearm with one arm and gave you a big smile as you raised an eyebrow and asked.

(y/n): You really want me to come along, dont you?

Yugo: Hehe yea!

(y/n): Hmmph...

You shook your head as you slightly smiled and spoke.

(y/n): Lets go then.

Yugo smiles as he runs towards the others as you followed, leaving the married couples alone as everything fades to black...

(y/n)'s mind: Makers, Well of Souls, Tree of Life and Death... Please help me remember who or what it is I'm looking for here... It pains me to only know that it's important to me... Is it even in this realm?

Then the title "Walfu" appeared as the title is untouched as no sounds were heard, just peaceful silence.

Percedel: Oh magic map, show us the way please? Make it fast, yes? Thank you!

Map: No!

Evangelyne: Real smooth...

(y/n): Here let me try.

Percedel: Ok.

(y/n): Tell us where to go... Or I'll leave you out here in ashes!
