It was now Tuesday and you were at school. You told (F/n) about your situation yesterday, but left out the part where you gave him your phone number. If you told them that, you knew that they would freak out. They would probably also try to kill you since you just pretty much gave your number to some random stranger.
It was in the middle of lunch time when you got a message. When you checked your phone to see who it was, you smiled. You didn't think he would talk to you this often, even if it was just a question.
Jinyoung: What time do you get out of school?
(Y/n): Almost 3pm. Why?
Jinyoung: That way I can help you out with your math assignments.
He really was willing to help you out, wasn't he? Man, was he nice or what? You almost feel like you don't deserve his help.
(Y/n): Oh right. But that would have to wait until after work, remember?
Jinyoung: Oh yeah. I forgot about that.
Just then, the bell rang, signaling that you next class was about to start.
Jinyoung: How about I stop by at the cafe again? I can help you once your done or while you're on your break?
(Y/n): That's not a bad idea. I'll talk to you later since the bell just rang.
Jinyoung: Alright. Good luck in the rest of your classes!
(Y/n): Thank you!
And with that, you started walking into class.
~Time Skip to the End of School~
You were now walking off campus with (F/n) to their car. They were, again, going to give you a ride to work today. "I saw you were on your phone during lunch today." They said. "Who were you talking to?" You didn't know if you should tell (F/n) the truth about messaging a complete stranger. You didn't want to be attacked. But you couldn't lie to them forever, right? "To be completely honest with you, it's the guy who helped me out last night." You said while looking down at your lap, now in the passenger's seat of your friend's car. "WHAT??!" They exclaimed. You were glad they didn't start driving yet. "Are you telling me that you are texting a complete STRANGER?? What if he tries to hit on you? Or tries to do something to you? Or even-" "Yah!!" You interrupted, now getting a little annoyed. "He's not bad at all, at least I don't think he is. And besides, I told you that he handled that drunk guy who was trying to take me home with him, remember?" They sat there for a second, thinking. "Alright..." They said. "But that doesn't mean I trust him." Ending it at that, (F/n) started driving you to your house so you could get ready for work.
~Time Skip to Work~
Your position today was to clean up the tables once the customers left. It's almost been 2 hours now, meaning it's almost time for your break. You had brought your math assignments, along with the study guide (F/n) made for you, so that way you could study when you have the time. Your test was tomorrow, so you had to really work hard to get a decent grade, or else you would fail the semester. For some reason you doubted that Jinyoung would come by the cafe again to help you, but you tried not to think about it. Although, you couldn't help looking around every once in a while to see if he was here yet. Just then, you heard the door open to the cafe, revealing Jinyoung and another young man next to him. He had a bit of a baby-ish face which made him look kind of cute, but he was also pretty handsome. When you and Jinyoung made eye contact, you smiled at each other before heading to the back room to get ready to take your break.
Once you were out with your math papers, you spotted Jinyoung and his, assumed, friend at the same table from yesterday. "Hello." You greeted. They both smiled at you and waved. "Hey (Y/n)," Jinyoung started. "I'd like you to meet a friend of mine. His name is Kunpimook Bhuwakul, but we call him BamBam for short." You froze for a second. Kunpimook? BamBam? It couldn't be... Could it? You looked up to see a different yet familiar face. "B-... BamBam?"
