Chapter 3

Ikuya was sinking.

"I'm alone again, no one's going to save me. If that's how it is then I..."

He completely vanished.

Ikuya let out a gasp as he woke up. It was a nightmare. He panted a bit and a few seconds later, his phone rang.

Toono Hiyori, the caller id said.

"Good morning, Ikuya, were you awake?" He asked.

"I am now. Did you need something?"

"Oh, nothing really. It was just a wake up call. I wanted to make sure you wouldn't be late for practice." Hiyori told.

"I wont be late." Ikuya assured him.

"I hope not. After all that happened yesterday..The team mate of yours from middle school, Nanase-kun, was it?"

"Just forget about that, I'm fine. I need to get ready now."

The call was then ended.

You sat on your bed while surfing through the internet on your laptop. You look over to the side of your bed where a group photo of Ikuya, Asahi, Haruka, Makoto, Kisumi and Yourself was put. You smile at the picture.

Rin got up and turned off his alarm clock. He did his morning routine and headed out. He then got to the Aquatic Centre. He changed into his swim wear and went out.

"Good morning, Rin."

"Hey, David." Rin answered in English.

"How's Mikhail working out for you?"

"He's a great coach but..."

"But?"

Rin then had a flashback about what Mikhail had said to him a few days ago.

"By the way, Rin-kun, do you prefer char siu or naruto on your ramen?"

"I can't read him." Rin said after thinking a bit.

"He's known to be smart but a little different. You should be happy, though. Mikhail's respected and rarely coaches someone one-on-one. He clearly saw something in you." David spoke.

"I'm not sure what, though. Regardless, I'm grateful." Rin said.

A tall male was running in hurry.

"Chris, what's wrong?" Rin questioned.

"Oh, Rin. Some random Japanese guy came out of nowhere and asked Mikhail to coach him!"

"What?" Rin was confused.

"Mikhail said no, but the guy told him that he'd have to coach him if he beat everyone else." Chris explained.

"A Japanese guy..do you know anyone like that?" David asked Rin.

"No, I don't know anything like that.." Rin spoke.

They then ran to the pool.

"He's fast..." A member spoke.

"I'm not that fast, you guys are just too slow." A male with brown hair replied.

He turned around and saw Rin.

"Who's this? Wanna be next?" The male grinned.

"Sounds fun. I'll take you on." Rin spoke in Japanese.
