'Far from the land where the humans lived, at the bottom of the ocean which was so clear, like purest glass, there was the mermaid's kingdom.'

Ikuya was reading 'The Little Mermaid.' He let the book gently press on his face as he closed his eyes.

"See? Kisumi told us they weren't practicing today, didn't he?" Asahi said as he looked towards the pool.

"So, Kisumi was actually right?" Haruka asked.

"You didn't believe him?!"

"Wha-Haru-chan!" You glare at him.

"Haru-chan?" Asahi snickered at the nickname.

"(Name), I told you to not call m-"

"Yeah, yeah. I know, Haruka." You tease.

Haruka sighed at you before you start giggling and playfully punch at his shoulder.

"At this time of the day, he must still be in class." Makoto spoke.

"Yeah, where we should be right now." You grin.

"It's for a good cause!" Asahi protested.

"Which department is Ikuya in?" Haruka asks as he looks at Asahi.

There was a few seconds of silence.

No one really knew.

"Damn it! I didn't ask him!" Asahi grabbed his head in frustration.

"Asahi!" Makoto whined.

"Any ideas now?"

"I'll just give Kisumi a call." Asahi tells as he calls Kisumi.

"So, how's it going? Did you guys get to see Ikuya?" Kisumi asked through the phone.

"Not yet! What department is he in anyway?" Asahi asked.

"Senpai didn't tell me that..."

"Well, go ask now. Ask whoever you know that has a boyfriend at Shimogami U!"

"Well, I might not be able to, since she has plans to see a movie with her boyfriend today. The one called A Rat's Life 2." Kisumi spoke.

"Seriously?" Asahi sighs.

Your eyes widen as you snatch Asahi's smartphone away from him.

"What the-(Name)?!" Asahi was baffled.

"A Rat's Life 2? Man, we've got to see it together some time, Kisumi!" You chirp through the phone.

"Yes, we totally should!" Kisumi sounded excited.

"Did you see that trailer? Did Veronica look beautiful in that or what? I thought she looked beautiful!" You swoon.

"Definitely! But, not as beautiful as you, of course!" Kisumi teased.

"Aw, shush! You're going to make me blush!" You laugh through the phone.

"Maybe you should go look for Ikuya now?" Kisumi suggested.

"Really? I'm sure we have plenty of tim-"

"(Name)!" The three boys behind you complain.

"Jeez, okay, okay. Catch you later, Kisumi!" You say as you end the call.

"If you're done can we go now?" Asahi sighs.

"Lets." You smile and wink playfully at him.

Asahi rolled his eyes, a smile present on his face.
