Chapter 10

"Tokyo really is crowded as they say." Rei commented as the Iwatobi Swim Club roamed the streets of Tokyo.

"Right? It's always like this in Hachiko around summer time. But, the Moai statue is a good place to meet up, too, if you're trying to avoid the crowds." Romio told.

"I get why you say Tokyo is your second home, you can give tours! " Nagisa said.

"This place is great." Gou spoke to herself as she gulped and looked at all the muscular men.

Ayumu gulped as she saw some men with fat.

"There are muscles all over the place." Gou spoke.

"And more.." Ayumu added.

"Wow, Hachiko.." Shizuru muttered.

"Hey!" Makoto called as he ran over to the swim club.

"Mako-chan!" Nagisa exclaimed as he walked over to the said boy.

"Sorry for the wait." Makoto apologised.

"It's okay, we just got here." Nagisa assured.

"Wait, where's Rei?" Makoto asked after not finding Rei.

"He went to the bathroom." Nagisa replied.

"That's the evil king, the one with the magic lamp." Shizuru murmured as he stared at Makoto.

"Hm? Oh, you guys must be the new club members." Makoto glanced at the team.

"Hayahune Romio." Romio bowed as he introduced himself.

"Kunikida Ayumu." Ayumu bowed.

"Isurugi Shizuru." Shizuru introduced.

"I've heard a lot about you three. Hi, I'm Tachibana Makoto, the pleasures mine." Makoto smiled as he lent out a hand.

The new members gasped.

"We're honoured to meet you!" They say as they all clasp Makoto's hand together.

The Iwatobi Swim Club members, along with Makoto, sat down in a restaurant.

"Makoto-senpai, it's great to see you again." Rei spoke.

"Yeah, it really is. How've you been?" Makoto said.

"Great!" Rei replied.

"Haru-chan and (Nickname)-chan are at a training camp, right?" Nagisa asked.

"Yeah, since the All Japan Invitational is so close. But, you two have the nationals starting tomorrow, right?" Makoto answered.

"Yes, I'll be in the butterfly event, and Nagisa-kun's in the breaststroke." Rei told.

"Right. Rei, Nagisa, congratulations again." Makoto congratulated.

Rei and Nagisa looked happy.

"It's too bad you guys won't be in it, but let's cheer them on together." Makoto looked at the new members.

"Sure!" Shizuru and Romio nodded.

"I wish we could've seen Haru-chan and (Nickname)-chan." Nagisa pouted.
"There was nothing we could do. The All Japan Invitational is next week. This is a really important time for them." Rei convinced.

"That's true." Nagisa agreed.

"Your brother's at a training camp, too, isn't he, Gou-senpai?" Ayumu asked.

"Yeah, but not on the same one as Haruka-senpai and (Name)-senpai, so he's not in Tokyo." Gou explained.

"Everyone's working hard towards their own goals. We have to work hard, too! And that starts with a good meal. Let's eat!" Rei exclaimed.
