'hey, walk with me to my car? i'm taking ashton to the library to study with me.' calum was snacking on a small bag of cheez-its. michael chuckled and agreed, holding the front door of the school open for calum.

'he's so great, mikey. he's funny, cute, and might i say, smart as hell. we hung out last night as his place. his room smells like vanilla. vanilla, michael!' another laugh escapes michael's mouth. calum has never acted like this, especially over a guy.

'that's nice, cal. i'm really happy for you.' michael said, smiling at him. calum was grinning. they walked over to his car and calum couldn't stop talking about ashton. and then the boy walked over.

'hey cal, are we still going to the library?' calum nodded and smiled to michael before opening the passenger door for ashton. the blond blushed and stepped in, letting calum shut the door.

'michael, i'm going to die. i'll text you how everything goes' michael chuckled and said bye to calum before going back into the school, deciding to go see luke.

michael walked up to luke's office, hearing people talking. he waited outside before a man walks out, staring strangely at him. he huffs before walking in and seeing luke with his head on the desk.

he knocked on the door frame and luke shot up, letting out a sigh of relief when seeing michael.

michael notices the tiredness in luke's eyes. they were droopy and he looked like he hadn't slept in a few days. they were also puffy, the area around them red and tear stained.

'hey luke.' michael said, walking closer to the desk. luke smiled.

'hey.'

michael looked the boy over one last time before talking.

'do you need a hug?' luke looked at michael's face, before nodding and standing up, letting michael engulf him in a warm hug. luke felt tears in his eyes and he clutched michael tighter.

'you're alright, luke. i'm here' michael didn't even recognize what he was saying before luke chokes on a sob and moves his arms so he's hugging around michael's neck and his head was resting on his shoulder. michael pouted. luke was so broken.

they pulled apart and michael watched luke wipe his eyes.

'i -uh,' luke locked eyes with michael and smiled lightly. michael inched closer to luke, staring at his lips. he wasn't planning on kissing luke, that is, until luke kissed him.

it felt amazing, not like what people had told him. he felt something in his chest that he'd never felt before, and part of him didn't want to pull away. but he did.

'that - isn't - luke this is illegal we can't do that. you could get fired and face jail time and i could get expelled!' michael looked at luke, who was grinning ear to ear. michael gave him a confused look.

'i just gave my 2 weeks notice. michael, we can just wait it out, right?' michael looked at the grown and smiled before nodding. he could wait two weeks for luke.
