Eliana
I couldn't help the smile that spread across my face as the bell rang to signal the end of the school year. Free at last. Although I didn't not have any plans as to how I was going to spend my summer yet, I was more than sure that most of it would be spent begging my parents to homeschool me.
They'd been on my back all year about how my grades were slipping and how I was always in trouble, I swear the school probably had my mother on speed dial. Most of the time it was for fighting with a couple of other girls in my grade, I'd get a massive lecture from mom about how bullying is wrong, and then I'd be screamed at by my older sister because bullies ruined her life. They never really actually cared enough to look into it and realize that I was not the bullier, but merely the bullied.
It's to be expected though, I'm stereotyped by everyone who lays eyes on me, the celebrity's sister is always a stuck up bitch out to make everyone else's lives a living hell, right? Even if she's the one sporting the black eye.
My older sister Madison was the only one who ever actually took the time to listen to my explanations. Mom was convinced I was the bad guy after I stood up for myself one day and it was caught on the hallways security camera. Dad usually sided with mom. Dallas, my oldest sister, would take the time to listen occasionally, but would just end up pulling me into her arms and whispering some nonsense about how they were just jealous. Then there's Demi, my celebrity sister who is always too busy to listen to what I have to say, but still finds time to chew my ear off for an hour about what effects bullying can have, as if I hadn't already seen it. I live it, sister dearest.

'Eliana!' I turned my head in the direction of the call, my english teacher, Miss Murray, was chasing me, 'I didn't get the chance to give you this' she handed me my latest assignment back, on the front a massive A+ was on display, 'and I left a list of books that I think you'd be interested in' She smiled, 'have a nice summer'I smiled to myself as I approached my sisters car, 'Hey baby' Madison greeted, although she was only five years older than me, she still loved reminding me that I was her little baby. I didn't really mind it, it always made me feel loved, 'how was school?' her concerned brown eyes met mine, before she looked down at the newly forming bruise on my cheek
I shrugged, 'it was school I guess' a nervous chuckle left my lips, 'I only got into three fights today' well, I was attacked.
Dallas, who was sat behind the wheel sighed as she ran a hand through her long hair, 'you're not supposed to get into any Eliana!'
'I didn't fight back' I whispered, put off by my sisters disappointed demeanor, 'I didn't even say anything'
'Mom didn't get a call' Dallas mused, 'did they not find out?'
I sighed, 'Three separate teachers witnessed it on the three separate occasions, they all saw that I didn't do anything and told the headmaster there was no point calling mom unless he were going to tell her that I was being assaulted in his hallways' I paused, knowing damn well my headmaster wouldn't call my mother and admit that he had been wrong all these years, 'so, no phone call home'
Maddie smiled at me sympathetically, her reaction was one of the many reasons I never spoke about what happened at school, I hate being pitied. I didn't need anyone's pity, I am so lucky to have two amazing parents and three pretty cool sisters who I can fight with about stupid stuff like what to watch on the television, not everyone has that privilege.
'Ells!' Dallas called, snapping me out of my thoughts, 'do you want anything from starbucks?' I shook my head, the thought of any beverage other than water made me feel sick to my stomach, 'not even an iced vanilla latte?' she questioned, knowing that I always used to steal hers when I was younger
