Eliana

When I saw the place the Demi had brought us I wanted to cry, scream and fight her, but I couldn't. I barely had the energy to breathe anymore.

She smiled softly at me, waiting for me to get out of the car. Not something she'd usually do. She unbuckled my car seat, then held her hand out. I climbed out of her car, but then my legs collapsed underneath me. I hadn't tried to walk in four days. I'd skinned my knees open, and it really hurt. I cried as Demi picked me up, tears of her own rolling down her cheeks, 'we're going to get you help baby, you're going to be okay'

Demi pulled a tissue out of the backpack she'd brought, wiping the blood off of my knees, 'I'm sorry' I whispered, unable to shake the feeling in the pit of my stomach, she was mad at me, I knew it.

She shook her head, 'Don't apologize for something you can't control' her answer was short, sharp, like she didn't care at all. She was definitely angry.

I tried to push myself out of her arms, but she simply shook her head. I sighed, leaning back against her, I might as well soak up what I can now before she disappears again. I don't doubt my sisters are leaving me here for dead, never to be seen again, they didn't even tell my parents where they were taking me, not that they'd care either.

There was no line when Demi walked up to the triage area, there was quite a few people in the waiting area though, we were going to be here forever and it doesn't help that my sister is a celebrity, I can already picture everyone asking for photos and autographs, in the worst possible place. There were so many kids who looked way sicker than I am.

The nurse looked up from her computer, her mouth dropping for a second before composing herself, 'Hi, I'm Elise, take a seat, I'll be one moment' she continued typing on her computer. Demi sat down, I turned myself around, so I wouldn't have to face the nurse, Dallas and Nick had sat behind us in the waiting room, 'how may I help you today?'

Dallas had her head in her hands, Nick and her were whispering about something, 'I'm Demi, this is my little sister is Eliana, she hasn't eaten, I don't know how long she's been fasting' she stopped, 'I'm so scared she's going to die' her tears fell on my back, 'I'm sorry' she whispered

I didn't know what to do, I wanted to leg it but I couldn't, Demi had a death grip on me, 'It's okay, Demi, I understand' Elise reassured, 'how about we take it one step at a time' I felt Demi nod, 'how old is Eliana?'

'She's nine'

I could hear the computer clicks, 'so nine years old?' Demi nodded again, 'okay, do you think we could get her finger?' Demi turned me around, much to my dismay, 'Hey Eliana, I'm just going to put this on your finger, it takes your heart rate and oxygen' I kept my hands clasped together, and away from the weird looking clamp, 'it's okay sweetie, it won't hurt' it wasn't pain I was worried about, I didn't want to be here, and I most certainly didn't want a reason to stay. I follow too many recovery recovery accounts on instagram, I know the possibilities of being forced to stay and gain weight were high, even though I am still fat and nowhere near sick enough to be here. I still have five pounds to lose.

Demi picked up my hand softly, placing it in front of Elise, who put the clip on my finger. I bounced my leg, trying to do anything to get my heart rate up, but Demi noticed, and placed her other hand on top of it. Elise scribbled down the numbers on a piece of paper, 'Okay, if you guys could follow me into this little room, I'll let you through' I knew that wasn't a good sign. Demi ushered Dallas and Nick to follow us as we walked into a smaller room, 'if you could just lay her down on the bed, I'm going to need to get a blood pressure, both lying and standing'

I nervously played with my fingers as Demi laid me down, Elise kept the soft smile on her face, 'Do you prefer Elly? or Eliana?'

'Elly' I whispered, 'please, ma'am'
