Chapter Two

'Go down and grab some breakfast baby, I'll sneak you out the side whilst Mads distracts mom' Dallas winked at me after she finished braiding my hair. She'd dressed me in the same size three dress from yesterday and kept my tights on, the only things that fit me, 'which shoes?' she asked, holding up two different pairs.

I shrugged, 'I want you to pick Dally, you always look so pretty'

'You're the cutest' she said as she placed a pair of boots on my feet, 'Okay, make sure you eat your breakfast' I nodded and ran down the stairs, tripping over my feet and falling down the last few, 'oh Phi' Dallas laughed as tears ran down my cheeks

'it hurts' I cried, 'Dally, carry me?' she laughed, picking me up and putting me on her hip.

'Get yourself some breakfast Phia, I'll be back in a minute' I nodded as Dallas put me down. don't you dare eat Eliana. I grabbed a breakfast bar out of the cupboard, Dallas, satisfied with what I had taken walked out of the room. I threw the bar back into the cupboard.

Maddie walked into the kitchen and wrapped her arms around me, 'are you ready to be kidnapped?' she whispered, chuckling. I nodded, 'have you eaten something?'I nodded again, 'good doggy' she patted my head, 'I didn't know it was that bad baby' Maddie sighed as she ran her hand over my back 'your entire back is covered in bruises'

I shrugged, she pulled me closer to her, kissing the top of my head, 'let's forget about them today, okay?' I nodded. Although I was excited to hang out with my sisters today, I dreaded seeing Demi. Our relationship has been on the rocks ever since mom saw the tape of me slapping Heidi a week ago after she wouldn't let me use the bathrooms again, and then ran straight to Demi to get her to lecture me. Maddie let go and walked back out of the kitchen.

Dallas ran back in and scooped me up, running out the front door and placing me in her car. It wasn't long until Maddie ran out the front door and jumped into the front seat, 'drive' she yelled at Dallas, who slammed her foot on the gas and drove out of our driveway. 'well, that went well' Maddie breathed out, high fiving Dallas, 'mom may or may not kill us when we get home by the way' she paused, 'and Demi might be pissed off when we see her, but if we show her Eli's bruises' I shook my head, it would be a cold day in hell before Demi saw the bruises that lined my body.

'Eli, if you just show her'

'No' I cut Maddie off, suddenly regretting even coming on this shopping trip

'Mads, I don't think it's fair to force her' Dallas said, looking back at me and giving me a reassuring smile, 'Demi will get over herself'

Maddie crossed her arms over her chest, 'They're just bruises, I don't see why she's making such a fuss' gee, thanks. I frowned, dropping my head

'Madison' Dallas scolded, 'they're not just bruises and if she doesn't want Demi to see them then Demi doesn't see them' she waited for a reaction, 'understand?'

'Fine'

'way to go Madison' Dallas mumbled, 'you made her cry' I kept my gaze low, 'Phia, babygirl, it's okay' she placed her hand on my knee, keeping her other hand on the wheel.

'Come on babygirl' Dallas said, trying to will me out of the car, 'I know it's been a bad morning, I do baby' I hadn't stopped crying, what Maddie had said hit me hard. I just wanted to be in my sisters arms. I unbuckled my belt and held my arms out, Dallas lifted me out of the car. My head went straight to her shoulder, 'I'm sorry baby, I should've asked before I showed mom and dad last night'

'It's okay Dally' I whispered, tears still running down my cheeks, 'you were just worried' she smiled at me

'You're too good for me' She whispered back, running her sleeve under my eyes, 'now I want you to tell me if you feel sick or you want to go home alright?' I nodded, although I had no intention of actually following through with that, it wasn't fair to ruin their shopping trip
