"I was beginning to think Proxima was lying when she said a descendant of Nala beat her twice."

"I haven't been allowed to do what I've wanted to do for the last week or this fight would be over already." (Y/N) said. "And I'm not Nala. I'm (Y/N)." Thanos smiled. It was soft and sad.

"You definitely have her bite." He laughed. "You look exactly like Nala did."

"Then let's repeat history." (Y/N) hissed as she ran at him making her eyes glow. He got in a fighting stance as she approached him and was ready to stop her attack when she disappeared. He looked around for a minute then snapped his head to the right as she appeared and scratched his face with her claws. She jumped at him again from the left and got him again before appearing above him and attacking him from above. This three way attacked happened for a solid few minutes before (Y/N) landed in front of him and sprinted forward to finish him.

Thanos grabbed her by the throat with such force that it forced her back into her human form. She groaned at the pain slightly and brought her fist around and he smacked her hand away from his face sending her attack towards a tree completely shattering it. She struggled in his grip and watched as he stuck his hand into her chest, removing the soul stone.

"You and our kin will die here." Thanos told her. Erik looked at Kali and grabbed her, running off to find a safe place he could protect both the twins.

"No. Malume Erik. No! No! Umama! Umama!" Kali yelled as Erik carried her away. T'Challa looked at (Y/N)'s limp body.

"No. No no no no no. (Y/N)!" T'Challa yelled as he dove to catch her when Thanos threw her off to the side. He craddled her to him as Steve jumped to stop Thanos.

"Challa... Kali..."

"She is safe I swear to you." He gasped as he watched her eyes slowly roll back into her head.

Dark. Cold. Muffled. That's all she could feel, hear or see. That's all (Y/N) could feel as she tried to get her eyes to open. When she could finally force them open see she was greeted by her reflection. There was a light behind her reflection that was slowly getting closer.

"I am much more than a reflection, (Y/N)."

"How do you know who I am?"

"I am Nala. Our meeting has been long over due darling." (Y/N) stared at her. "You're dying." Nala told her making (Y/N) more agitated. The light behind Nala grew brighter.

"I know that. Im just trting to figure out how I can get back out there and save my family." (Y/N) said pacing.

"Pause. Right now. Can you see pass this battle?" Nala asked her.

"A little but its fuzzy." (Y/N) said. Nala smiled and took (Y/N)'s hands.

"Darling you were never meant to live pass this battle." (Y/N) ripped her hands away from Nala.

"Stop it." (Y/N) whispered stepping away from Nala as tears ran down her face.

"You think you were supposed to grow old with your husband?" Nala asked her.

"Stop it." (Y/N)'s voice became slightly louder.

"You think you're supposed to see your kingdom flourish?"

"Stop it."

"You think you're supposed to see your kids grow up?" Nala's voice got more bitter with each question.

"Stop it." With every question (Y/N)'s voice raised.

"You think youre supposed to see the type of woman your daughter becomes. Or the King and Black Panther your sons become?"
