The doors to the throne room were thrown open as the messenger entered the room huffing. He had just run from the other side of the palace and was clearly out of breath.
"My King. You must come quick." The king completely ignored the council and ran after the messenger. Across the palace, a different servant had interrupted the Dora Milaje training. He was just as out of breath as the other servant.
"My Lady. There has been a problem." The leader sprinted past the servant and towards the medical area.
"No. No. No." She mumbled to herself. Finally, a young shadow lurked in the forest. He was still trying to perfect his stealth but a message stopped his hunt.
"Hey Mini Man. It's happening." The shadow in minutes was back at the palace and running next to his sibling. N'Jobu (now 18) looked to his left at his older brother, Kamau (now 23) and older sister, Kali (also 23). They both shared the look of desperation and panic that he did.
Kamau like his father hit his growth spurt at 13 and now looked almost exactly like T'Challa. He had easily filled the role of King when T'Challa gave his life protecting one of the many after school programs that Erik and (Y/N) had set up. A man hoping to rob the building of the items. As luck would have it, the building had been the one T'Challa was visiting. The years had been peaceful and sadly T'Challa's reaction time was slightly off. While he was able to dive to save the child, he wasn't able to activate his suit. (Y/N) refused to rule by herself and Erik was happier with small missions here and there. Both helped Kamau with the role of king and he took the role proudly and wore T'Challa's ring around his neck. Closer to his heart.
Kali took lead of the Dora Milaje just a few years ago when (Y/N)'s body had began to break down. (Y/N) had known it was going to happen but she didn't want to tell the kids. The fact was forced to the front when (Y/N) collapsed in front of them at dinner one night. Kali decided to take her mother's place instead of focusing on how she was soon going to become her brother's Kumnyama Omnyama.
N'Jobu and Kamau years before the loss of their father had decided on the most important choice. N'Jobu really never wanted to be king and was glad he was the younger sibling. They decided N'Jobu, who often trained with Erik, would take the title of Black Panther and Kamau would take the title of king. N'Jobu spent most his time in the forest and only had contact with Erik most the time. N'Jobu had changed the programmed in his Kimoyo Beads so he would ignore certain calls when he wanted. N'Jobu spent a ton of time creating fires in the lab with Shuri when he wasn't in the forest.
The siblings burst through the doorway and looked towards their mother and second father. Erik looked up at the siblings and gave them a look that said it wasn't good. All three looked at their sleeping mother. Kamau was the first to move towards her and take her hand.
"Please fight, Umama." He muttered resting her hand against his forehead.

(Y/N) looked at the hallway in front of her. She sighed this hallway itself was a memory. The year she spent reprogramming Bucky's mind. A tear ran down her face. She missed the man. Him and Steve had disappeared a little while after the battle with Thanos and they hadn't been heard from again. She opened the first door she came upon and watched a scene from when she had first moved into the palace. T'Challa, like always, was trying to make her talk.
"(Y/N)! (Y/N)!" He yelled at the small cub running at him. She jumped and shifted back to human form mid jump forcing him to catch her. "Hey (Y/N)! Hey! Why won't you answer me?"
"What?" She asked.
"What do you mean what?" He asked her as they walked back into the palace.
