Chapter Thirty- Two: I Swear I'm Going to Fix you.

Bucky followed the Dora Milaje member to a court yard where the twins were fighting a man he didn't recognize and (Y/N) was watching while holding a very small child. Kali was knocked to the ground with a small oof.

"Strengthen your base Kali you want to be an unbreakable force. When you believe in your strength you will start to feel it coursing through you and use it against your opponent." (Y/N) said from her spot.

"I have to learn to fight with the elements of the earth. I have to paint with the colors of the wind." Kali giggled.

"Erik how many Disney movies have you guys watched?" (Y/N) quickly asked.

"Every last one. Even the newer ones like Frozen and shit." He laughed.

"Bucky come sit." (Y/N) said not evening looking at him. When she finally looked at him she was smiling gently. "You brought your notebook, yes?" He tried to hand it to her as he sat down but she shook her head. "No. No you read it. Havent you ever heard the story about waking a sleeping child?"

"No I haven't." He mumbled.

"Moral of the story you don't. So I'll present one of the words and you present your opposing word and why you choose it." Bucky opened it half way through the notebook to the list. "Longing (желаниe)."

"Loyalty. You all risked so much for me. From Steve to you and T'Challa. You all have done so much to help keep me safe all I've done is cause trouble I suppose."

"That's just the Barnes Way isn't it. To cause trouble and have your friends support you." (Y/N) said gently. "Rusted (pжавый)."

"Strength. I've always felt weak against HYDRA. Like I was fighting an up hill battle but with all of you behind me I feel stronger than ever."

"Seventeen (семнадцать)." N'Jobu started crying and Bucky flinched. Erik noticed instantly amd waved the twins to an end.

"Alright kiddos let's call it for the day and go bother the Kingly Father." He said. He walked over and reached for N'Jobu. It took (Y/N) a minute but she handed N'Jobu to him. Erik rocked back and forth trying to sooth the crying child. "I'll feed him or whatever got the kink in Mini Man's wheels."

"Thank you." She mumbled staring at him. "Kids what do you say to Malume Bucky."

"Bye Malume Bucky!" Kali said taking a moment away from trying to get the small baby from Erik. Kamau bounced over to Bucky and flopped/hugged him. Bucky rubbed his head lightly and smiled at him.

"Bye Malume Bucky." Kamau said then stood up and patted Bucky's arm stump before running after Erik and Kali. Bucky watched the distressed look on (Y/N)'s face.

"Are you alright?" He asked. She quickly looked down then at him. Her expression changed and she shook her head slightly.

"I'm just having a bit separation anxiety after N'Jobu's birth. Its just a little harder than the first one." She said softly. "Okay. Where were we? Seventeen (семнадцать), right?"

"Thirteen. That is the year the twins were born."

"Daybreak (рассвет)."

"Peggy. I met her once or twice and she always very happy she reminded me of daybreak."

"Furnace (Печь)."

"Shield." Before Bucky could say anything more (Y/N) continued.

"Nine (Девять)."

"I didn't explain the last one." Bucky said confused.

"I've met Steve. You don't have to." She laughed.
