While Fowler was chatting with Josh, the bots sent their human charges home and returned shortly after. Fowler eventually left the rocky base and left the bots to recharge, Josh fell asleep on the yellow couch since he was more comfortable there than on a metal berth, "NO!" he yelled and sprung up from his heavy sleep with sweat dripping down his face, he wiped the sweat off his forehead ready to go back to sleep but heard someone at the console typing, Josh got up got up from the couch and walked toward the railing seeing Ratchet still up "Ratchet why are you still up?" he asked, still tired "what does it look like? I'm working" the medic stated "but you should power down before you overwork yourself" the soldier suggested "I won't over work myself, I've been working like this for eons" he turned to look at the young man with a death glare "so if you've been staying up like this for eons , then when was the last time you slept?" Josh smirked and the old field medic thought about it "that's what I thought, get some rest Ratch, you need it" Josh turned and went back to the yellow couch, as he laid down he heard heavy pedesteps knowing it was Ratchet when the lights went out.

Josh felt himself being jostled, he opened his eyes and turned to see the children staring at him, Miko and Raf were wide eyed, he looked around the room noticing no one else was in the room and stared back at the humans "what?" he questioned, the three looked at each other then back at Josh "you were talking in your sleep" Jack broke the silence "oh, was I? Didn't know I did that" the soldier smiled nervously and the room and turned back to the humans "what?" Josh tilted his head in question and the three turned to look at each other, then back at him "you were talking in your sleep" Jack mentioned, Josh smiled nervously and placed his hand on the back of his head "oh, was I? I didn't know I did that" the soldier sat up hunched over a bit looking down towards the metal flooring "who's Blurr? And why were you screaming?" the young girl that asks too many questions known as Miko spoke up and Jack placed a hand on her shoulder "Miko, don't ask stuff like that" he ordered as the smaller boy spoke "we understand if you don't want to talk about it, it must have been bad enough for you to be thrashing" Raf brought up, Josh looked at the kids and smiled a bit "it was, now do me a favor, don't tell the bots or anyone else, please" his brows furrowed in hope that they won't say a word and before he knew it, they all nodded in agreement.

Miko and Jack were playing video games while Raf did his homework, Josh was lying on the floor staring up at the ceiling "no one needs to know what happened, hopefully those kids won't ask anymore questions" he thought, then the sound of engines could be heard in the tunnel and entered the main hangar, the humans stopped what they were doing and ran down the steps to meet their guardians, Josh got up to his feet and walked towards the railing to see what was happening and noticed the bots were banged up pretty bad "what happened?" he asked and Bumblebee looked up at him .:Decepticons ambushed us:. He buzzed, Josh nodded in understanding "alright let's get you patched up, Bumblebee you first" Ratchet ordered, the muscle car followed the medic towards the med bay.

The long day had passed and the children's guardians drove them home and Josh took over the couch once again, ready to power down till he heard footsteps come up right next to him, he opened his eyes and saw Bumblebee's holoform look down at him "what's up, bee?" Josh asked, the young man roughly Jack's age sat down beside the soldier "nothing, but I wanna know what's wrong" Bee signed since he couldn't buzz or anything and Raf taught him a bit of sign language "nothing's wrong" Josh sat up and looked at the scout "I'm fine see"

he added as he faked a big smile, Bumblebee furrowed his brows a bit in irritation "Josh, don't lie. You can tell me anything, I won't tell anyone, I also know when something's bother someone by their sleeping habits" Josh knew Bee was a bit worried "fine, back on Cybertron when the war started, everyone was evacuating the laboratories of all personal and Blurr rushed in to get me since I was the last one and the Decepticons were about to bomb the main lab, we both got out and he was taking me to one of the starships that were about to take off, I refused to get on because I wanted to fight back and help you guys so Blurr left me and he ran onto the ship second before it closed its hatch, I was fighting Vehicons when it finally took off, but when it was almost out of the atmosphere till missiles were fired and shot it down, crashing back down, destroying the vessel and its crew then when I turned around to look how much damage was caused I was knocked out" Josh gripped his arms a bit in sadness as he looked down "my friends were on there and I just witness there destruction, but I guess that's what war is, huh?" he smiled slightly and looked back up at the scout "so now you know, don't tell a soul, please" he begged, Bumblebee signed "I won't" and hugged the man.
