Everyone was talking about their run-in with Cons' and how they managed to hide.
"The communications link needs further calibration to be compatible with Autobot frequencies. The ground bridge, however, is fully operational." Ratchet had explained to Ultra Magnus with Miko right beside him, which might have been a mistake.
"That would've come in handy when robo-dragon was trying to eat us for breakfast." Everyone stopped talking and looked at the human girl.
"The indigenous population on the planet, so they all display the same disregard for authority?" Shoulder pads had asked, to which the medic quickly answered: "No, mostly just Miko."
Soon an aircraft started to land in front of the bots and humans. In retaliation, Ultra Magnus transformed his servo's into blasters, aiming them at the aircraft, charging them and ready to shoot. Before the first shot could leave his cannon, everyone ran in front of the commander, some holding their hands up in defense for the aircraft. "No!" Ratchet yelled.
"Don't shoot!" Arcee added, wide optics focusing on the red and blue mech.
"It's Fowler, he's with us!" Bulkhead explained, worry crossing his half covered faceplates. Two humans climbed out of the plane, one being an adult female. She ran to Jack, her expression of worry and concern turning to one of relief as her arms wrapped around the boy, a tear running down her cheek.
"Oh thank God you're alright!" She exclaimed, hugging the boy closer in her arms.
"Mom-!? Hey- it's alright I'm fine..." Jack responded, wrapping his arms around his mom. Josh chuckled faintly, crossing his arms over his chest. June pulled away from her son, smiling at him and wiping away her tears before turning to the other kids. "Are you kids ok- are all of you ok?" She put her hands on Miko's shoulders, and for once the teenage girl didn't roll her eyes, instead, she wrapped her arms around June, Raf following suit. "Your families are safe," she started, wrapping one arm around Miko and the other around Raf. "agent Fowler had the town evacuated before the blast hit." She finished, rubbing Miko's back comfortingly.
"I don't wanna ruin everyone's fun, but Smokescreen's still missing, and we're still short one Prime." Arcee interrupted, hugging her arms to her chest as she watched the humans reunite. "How long until a military jet isn't the only thing knocking at our door?" Her gaze turned to look at Ultra Magnus, much like she'd look up to Optimus when consulting him about the course of action.
Josh rolled his eyes in annoyance to Arcee's complaining and walked up to Shoulder pads. "Well, since you were Optimus' lieutenant back on Cybertron, you may as well be our leader at this point until we find Prime." He suggested.
Wheeljack looked down at the Cybertronian holoform in disgust. "You want Shoulder pads in charge?" The mech stepped forwards, glaring at Josh.
Ratchet then started to answer, talking over Wheeljack. "Ultra Magnus is the only logical choice Wheeljack." Ratchet made sure to support his statement with a glare directed right at the taller mech. The wrecker rolled his optics in response, shifting his gaze to watch as the commander opened his ship.
"Follow me, soldiers." He ordered, stepping on foot on the step of the ship and turning back to look at the other Bots. They all filed in, of course with the exception of the humans staying behind. Now, being crammed into one spot of the ship, Ultra Magnus pushed a button on a control panel and the back panel of the ship opened, showing many blasters and other weapons. Wheeljack's optics widened at how many devices of destruction he saw. "Now you're speaking my language, sir." The Wrecker made sure to let the last word roll off of his glossa.
"We could really use the weapons and all, I'm all for that- but what use is a bunch of guns if we have no plan?" Josh spoke up from the ledge he had managed to climb to. No one had noticed he was there until now.
"It would be wise of you to speak when spoken to, soldier. I wouldn't allow my crew to run into a death trap." He added, reaching a large servo forward and picking up an even larger gun... "Suit up, soldiers."
The Autobots grabbed their weapons of choice, ones that could probably do a lot more damage than the Earth-based ones they had been using over the years- no offense to Ratchets engineering. The Bots, now suited up, locked and loaded, turned to Ultra Magnus, ready to hear out his plan to take down the Decepticons and their citadel, or at least disable them for a while.
