3. The Virtue of Remembering Allah (c)

Why are you so enchanted by this world when the mine of gold lies in the hands of Allah?
Open your eyes and go.
Return to the Creator of you...❤

Let's begin with this hadith ,
Uqbah bin Amir radiyallahu ta'ala anhu said: The Messenger of Allah SWT (pbuh) came out (from his house) and we were on the porch (As- Suffah). So he said ,
"Who of you would like to go out in the morning everyday to the valley of Buthan or Al-Aqeeq and come back with two large she-camels without committing any sin or severing the family ties?"
We replied , "O Messenger of Allah! All of us would like this."
So he said, "Would one of you not go to the Masjid and learn or recite two Verses from the Book of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic? That would be better for him than two she-camels. And three Verses would be better for him than three she-camels. And four Verses would be better than four she-camels ,and whatever their number maybe of camels."
Muslim 1/553

In the last chapter we saw how many immense rewards we can get just by reading one letter from the Book of Allah.
One letter , One Hasanah. :)

Now in the above hadith by our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) it is mentioned that learning two verses from the Book of Allah SWT is more than earning two she-camels or whatever number maybe of camels depending on our learning verses , our deeds and our Remeberance towards Him.
Subhan'allah ,
Rewards again... ❤

And he said: "Whoever sits and doesn't mention the Name of Allah (before he rises) , will find it a cause of sorrow from Allah. Whoever lies down to sleep and does not mention the Name of Allah will find it cause of sorrow from Allah. "
Abu Dawud 4/264. Al-Albani ,Sahihul Jami As-Sagir
5/342.

May Allah the All-Mighty save us from all these ignorance where we forget to remember Him.
Āamîn~
We sit , we breathe , we eat , we sleep , we rise and again we repeat the same but we forget that the ability to sit is given by Allah.
The oxygen we are breathing in to live on is from Allah.
The food we are eating is His mercy.
We sleep to make ourselves at rest and rise the next day without being dead is a blessing by Allah & we forget to remember the One who has blessed us with these blessings!
Astagfirullah! May Allah SWT forgive us. :(
If it would not have been His generosity, I and you would not have been breathing , writing and reading these words with electronic devices in our hands ya Akhis and Ukhtis!
This is our chance to realise and to turn towards Him , towards Our Lord before our ignorance today becomes our cause of sorrow tomorrow! 💔

And he said: "No people may rise from an assembly in which they have failed to mention the Name of Allah without it being as if they were getting off a dead donkey's rotting back, and it would be a cause of grief for them."
Abu Dawud 4/264

Such a shame ya people of Ummah!
Such a shame!
This hadith has left me dumbstruck, because I know sometimes people out there don't even spare a second to be grateful to our Lord while sitting in gatherings happily breathing.

No , I definitely am not judging anyone oh my brothers and sisters because I was among those people a few years ago.
Astagfirullah. 💔
There was a time when I was ignorant too.
But Our Rab , He's Most Merciful , Most Loving and Most forgiving.
He gives his slaves many chances , He guides us.
Just like He did to me. :) Alhāmdullîlah!
So take that chance maybe it's now! Maybe it's fair time we change.
Let's do it...
May Allah SWT succeed us and reward all the striving Muslim Brothers and Sisters out there.
May He guide those who have gone astray.
May He have mercy on them and forgive all of us.
Say Aāmin ya Rabbîl Aälamin. ❤
