So this was a like, lazy chapter. And Ruby's hoodie always stays on her head.
The picture above is the leather jacket.
------------------------------
On Sunday morning, Ruby woke up more energized than ever. She went to her closet and found a silver leather jacket with a hoodie, which was surprisingly very comfortable. She wore it with a pair of black sweatpants. Then she grabbed her glasses and got out of her apartment. It was about noon as Ruby climbed the stairs to the roof. When she arrived at the roof, she grabbed her glasses and put it on then pressed a hidden button on the side. The glasses expended and a screen showed in Ruby's vision. She smirked and stood on the edge of the roof. The buildings were all close to each other so it was easy for Ruby to jump from one to the other, and that's exactly what she did. With a countdown, she pushed her legs and jumped easily to the next building.
Time passed by while Ruby waited for any sign of the Spider-Guy, but no one showed up. She was on top of a building that was close to her school when she decided with a heavy heart, to end the treasure hunt and go back home. The sun was starting to set as she pulled her hoodie over her head and walked to the edge of the building. When she was about to jump a voice yelled from behind her.
"Don't do it!"
She turned around and saw Spider-Man. She smiled as he stared at her strangely.
"Spider-Guy! I've been looking all over for you!" She said and walked towards him.
"Wait. So you weren't gonna jump off the building?" Peter asked in his Spider-Man suit.
"What? Jump off?" Ruby asked. "No, I was actually about to leave before you stopped me."
"Leave where?" Peter asked. "To heaven?!"
"Dude, calm down." Ruby said. "There's a shorter building down there. If I jumped off, I would have landed there."
"Oh . . ." Peter said as he saw the small building from the edge. "Anyways . . . who are you?"
"I'm gonna give you a hint." Ruby said "My name starts with an R and we meet at an airport."
It took Peter a few moments before his eyes widen. He looked at her with his masked mouth wide open. He blinked a few times before he spoke.
"Y-You're M-Mr. Stark'sdau- , y-you're . . . Ruby Stark!?!" He stuttered
"Yup, that's me." Ruby said. "So this is where you live. It's a great city by the way."
"Wh-what- why- You can h-hear me?" Spider-Man asked.
"Oh yeah, my dad got me something called hearing aids." Ruby said and pointed at her ears.
"B-but what are y-you- How long have you b-been here?" Spider-Man stuttered while asking.
"It's been about 3 weeks. Sorry for not joining you earlier, I had to get these back from a guy."Ruby said pointing at her mask.
"A-And who's the guy?" Spider-Man asked
"A guy called Peter Parker." Ruby said and Peter froze. "Why asking?"
"N-Nothing nothing." He said.
"So what do you do here?" Ruby said and took a set on the edge of the building.
"Well t-to be honest not much." Peter said and sat down next to her. "Now how d-did you g-get your mask?"
Ruby laughed softly as the wind blew on her hoodie.
"If you really want to know." Ruby started. "I gave this guy Peter my mask because my dad wanted to take it away from me . . ."
