Chapter 9

Hey, this is Jinny, and I'm back again. I'll try to make this longer than I usually do. Noah why did you have to end it with Jerome gone ;-;

Jinny's POV

I was first into the room and went in to see Mitch, he explained what happened and was shivering like crazy. Jerome was taken and everything in the room was a mess. We lit the torches again, the blankets fell to the floor, the walls had been busted at points, a lot of collateral damage. The window was opened while the wind was blowing in. Ethan shut it off, I helped Mitch stand up.

"I think we should stay up for tonight, we don't know what he'll do next. I'm scared for the rest of us." I spoke up. "Yea i agree, I'll make us something to eat and search for Jerome tomorrow morning at sunrise. Shouldn't be too long in minecraft time." Laney continued. "We'll stay in here, its the biggest room in the house. Everyone get your stuff, we're staying in here." Alex(A) ordered. "Where are we going to look first in the morning for Jerome?" Jason asked. "I say the mines! I saw him their last time. We'll look for signs" noah suggested. "Ok thats settled. Lets wait for laney to bring the food." I said.

We were all sitting their quiet sipping out mushroom stews, mitch calmed down a lot and seeing the damage we were all too paralyzed to say anything. Ethan, Noah, Quentin, Ian, and Jason helped each other clean up the mess, Brittany, Alex(M), Laney, and I checked around the house and crafted things to fix certain spots, Alex(A), Jason, Mitch, and Adam fixed up the armor and tools. That room held a lot of things and almost everything was damaged.

-SUNRISE-

"Ok lets go to the mines to search for Mitch's Biggums." I said cheerfully, staying positive. Everyone grabbed their armor and weapons, everything was fixed and in good shape again, all enchanted. We lined up in a line to get out of the door, the NG members in the lead and the TC members following. We rushed to the mines and split up into groups into each of the tunnels.

There were 7 tunnels that each had a different way into a bigger cave. There were 13 of us, everyone split into pairs of 2 and a group of three.

Me/Laney

Alex(M)/Brittany

Alex(A)/Jason

Noah/Ethan

Adam/Ty

Mitch/Ian/Quentin

We each went into the tunnels and looked for anything suspicious, then when we're all done, we would meet up at the end of the tunnels at the giant cave. Then we'll try to find Bryan's hideout. Laney and I went into the first tunnel and looked for things. We dug around, and see if anything was out of place. "Is there anything LANEY?!?" I yelled. It boomed across the whole mine, bet everyone heard that one. I could hear everyone's voices in the caves, it echoed everywhere. "Nope, nothing!" Laney yelled back.

-TIME SKIP-

We finally met up at the end of the tunnel, it was a giant cave that lead to a ravine at one end, and more tunnels at the bottom. "Is everyone here?!?" I called. All 11 voices yelled back "Yep!" While panting of course. We were all tired and the caves were cold. "Hey we should check that ravine! Maybe Jerome's in there?" Mitch asked, worriedly. "Sure Lets go." I replied. We stood in a group and traveled over solely and carefully to the ravine, hoping to not fall. Then.. A deep voice boomed loudly through the ravine. It echoed on the walls, and blasted our ears, rocks fell from the crevices in the ravine. "What was that?!?" Jason cried. "Bryan?" Alex(A) said. Everyone froze in place, no one moved. The ravine was high, and one drop can take down some of your hearts. Then who knows? Bryan can finish you up.

"Where are you?!? Come out if you're not scared!" Mitch stood up. "I'm not going to be the one thats scared little boy." He replied, booming the ravine once again. "Just keep your mouth shut, ok?" Bryan echoed. We went silent again, looking at our surroundings. "We should head back guys." I shook. "No, we cant. I need to save Jerome." Mitch retorted. He wasn't leaving easy. "Fine keep walking then." I snapped back. We all continued walking slowly. If something happens we all can loose this fight. "Hey look!" Jason pointed. "Theres some light coming from there!" We all stood up a little to look. It was a light. "Did you find something?" Bryan echoed. I looked behind me. "Well hello." His eyes glowed brighter, he was flying behind us. "RUN!" Everyone rushed to the cave, the light got brighter and brighter, it was a small doorway to some place. I couldn't bare to look behind me again.

Finally everyone got inside the small room, Mitch and Ian closed the doorway with a giant block. We all got in and were panting, hard. "Why is he doing this?" Ty asked, still panting. "Don't know" Alex(A) replied. At this point I was laying down on the ground. This is the closest I've ever been to herobrine. And we possibly could be in his lair. "GUYS! OVER HERE!" It was a familiar voice. We all looked over at the direction it was from. It came from Jerome! "Jerome!" Mitch ran towards him. They grabbed each other's hands. "Are your ok?" Mitch asked. "Yea, sorta. My wrists hurt though." "Jerome, how do you open this thing?" I asked. "That lever over there!" He pointed to a lever on the wall. I ran to it and flipped the lever as fast as possible. The door opened up and Jerome walked through. He hugged Mitch and they were squeezing each other to death. They were nearly crying at this point.

"We should go, I don't think he's there anymore." Noah said peaking out the doorway. Everyone came to wall to listen. Nothing but flowing water in the ravine, Bryan wasn't seen anywhere, but still unsure. "Let's be quick then." Brittany said. Ian and Quentin held the block that covered the door, "On three we'll open this." Quentin said. 1...2...3! They pushed the block, we ran out and the last to go was Ian. In the front was Laney and I, we went up the closest tunnel to the surface. I was panting again, the gun eel was full of turns and the whole way there was uphill. Laney stopped and I bumped into her, along with the others following behind. "What happened..." I paused. In front of her stood Bryan, his eyes were glowing, his ultimate obsidian sword, and a nasty smirk on his face. "I'm back."
