Chapter 8

Hey guys!! It's Noah here and I'm sorry that I haven't written yet, we (NG) had a delay in the schedule. But anyways... I'll be explaining some stuff from earlier points in the story so you can catch up. Thanks Gamers!! Hope you enjoy :)!

~Noah's PoV~

'1 MONTH EARLIER'

When the new TC group arrived, I knew that they were helpless and in need of training. Being the shy, but remorseless person that I am, I just HAD to teach them my combat skills.

After about a week of training, they had gotten down ALL my silent takedown, attacks, and strikes. You see, I knew that Alex's brother Bryan would be watching from a distance. He knew. Fresh meat. The TC group was vulnerable, and he knew some had feelings for others. Easy to take out if we were soft...

'1 MONTH LATER'

After we found Alex's brother Bryan's sign, Brittany sent Mitch, Jerome, and I down to the ravine mines. WE had the hard job. We knew that Bryan's hideout was underground, and we had been mining for years to find it.

"Hey! You guys find anything out of the ordinary?!" I yelled down the mine to Jerome and Mitch.

"Not yet! But we did find this!" Mitch said as he held up a little activator with a button. "Would this count as out of the ordinary?

I paused. "Yes... Very. Hand it to me, sloooowly" I inspect it for a while. " You guys go ahead home. I'll catch up-"

Without hesitation, they both started home.

"Finally, I thought they'd never leave." I heard a deep voice say sarcastically. I turned around to see none other then Bryan. Standing there with a smirk. "Now it's just you and me"

I ready my diamond daggers and get into attack stance. "I was hoping you would press the detonator's button, this hole mine is rigged with TNT, but I could just kill you here and now" he says smugly.

" What do you want?" I ask him.

"Oh you know, the world, power, all the NG destroyed; the usual stuff. But now that I got you here alone, I could pick you off first." He pulled out his sword, the same emerald hilted obsidian blade sword that killed so many lives, including Endy, and Ashlee.

'FLASHBACK'

I had liked Ashlee for so long, and I thought that I had a chance, especially when she was captured by Bryan. I thought I could do the thing they do in movies. Sneak in, kill the bad guy, save the hostages, and get the girl. Instead I managed to get captured, and Bryan hooked me up to his brain drain helmet. He controls they who wear it. He made me take his sword...and...Run it through Ashlee's chest. I snapped out of it and held her body in my arms, my rage fueled as I pulled out my blue bow and shot an arrow at Bryan. He dodged, most of it, the arrow scraped his cheek, leaving an ugly scar.

I made it out, but I was too weak. I almost died next to a tree in the forest, when I was met by 4 people. Their names were Alex, Brittany, another Alex, and laney. They took me into their group the "NationalGamers" as the fifth member. I became the weaponsmaster in the group.

'PRESENT'

I had an idea. I threw a dagger at his leg and he yelped in pain. 'Nows my chance' I thought? I booked it out of the mine with the detonator. 'You want me to press the detonator button?' I thought. 'Then here!' I pressed the button right when I was out of the mine. The TNT created a Barrier at the the entrance out of rocks and rubble. I knew he wasn't dead, but he was separated, which almost made up for it. I was so relieved to be safe, but I was so tired. I slept right under the stars.

The next day I got home right after the NG lunch. Brittany was first to greet me, "We had just realized you were gone!? Where were you?!" Brittany exclaimed!

"Well..." I looked at the crew, "reuniting with an old friend...and enemy."

And I told them all that had happened. They were in astonishment. "He said he was trying to pick us off one by one." I said. "He'll be going for weak spots. We need to tighten up around here." We all looked around in agreement.

We all went to bed at 9:00PM, paranoid of the news and what might come of it. Somehow, I managed to drift off to dreamland...uuuuuntil about 12:47.

There was a shrill scream coming from one of the TC bedrooms. Swiftly, NG all ran to the sound. It came from Mitch and Jerome's room. I looked around, and Mitch was shivering in a corner with fear.

"What's going on in here?"Laney asked.

Mitch slowly spoke and stuttered.

"H-h-he was here. The man. B-b-"

"Bryan!?!" We all exclaimed in astonishment. Mitch nodded. 'What did he want?' I thought.

"He t-t-took ...b-biggums... He took my biggums , Jerome!"
