Bill's P.O.V.

"Hey there."

I said giving the new kid one of my signature, overconfident flirty grins.

The new kid only pushed his hat down farther on his face as he was trying to hide a scarlet red blush.

"Do you have a name? I asked in a sarcastic voice.

"D-dipper?"

"Are you sure about that?" I replied in a sarcastic voice

"Y-yeah that's my name,"  The kid said as he awkwardly put his hands in his pockets.

"Cool, My name is Bill"

"For a boy so cute, he seems a little socially awkward," I thought as I started to come up with clever nicknames for my new proclaimed friend.

"great, I broke him," I thought as I chuckled at the kid's awkwardness

"Pinetree... I'll call you Pinetree." I said as I pointed to his blue and white hat.

Mabel's P.O.V.

I stole a quick glance at my brother and saw him chatting; well.... attempting to chat with a blonde-haired boy.

"They look so cute together, I ship them..."  I thought as I let out an ear-piercing squeal.

"O-M-GOODNESS!"

"YOU GUYS WOULD MAKE A GREAT COUPLE!!!"

I squealed excitedly, practically bouncing off of my seat.

Surprisingly the whole class didn't seem to notice.. except for the blondie and dipper.

As soon as our eyes met, I waved enthusiastically as dipper turned around, and trying pretending that nothing happened. Which he failed I must say because the sight of my brother's blushing face said it all.

The two boys were engulfed in deep conversation.

And soon enough, dipper began to warm up to his neighbor. And began to talk about more personal subjects.

"What brings you to this town?"

"My parents sent me and my twin sis, from Piedmont California to gravity falls because they are "too busy to take care of two teenagers," Dipper said bitterly as he leaned back in his chair.

Before they could say another word, The bell interrupted their conversation as they walked beside one another, outside the classroom door,

"What class do you have next?" Bill asked.

"Advanced math."

"Me too," Bill replied with a wink that made dipper's face turn a deep red.
