Toph's POV

"Ah, what a great night," I said as I cuddled into the chest of my boyfriend on the couch.

"I know!" Sokka cried. "A beautiful night with my beautiful girlfriend!"

I blushed hard. Me and Sokka have been working our butts off trying to keep Republic City safe. With him on the council and me as the Chief of Police, we never have anytime for each other. So we took a vacation to a small town outside of the city.

I snuggled into his chest and took in his scent. His scent made me feel calm, safe almost. I loved being in his presence. I would have never thought that the mighty Toph Beifong would be so... mushy.

"Toph?" He called. I turned towards his face.

Sokka's POV

I look into her milky jasmine eyes. How could I be so lucky?

I lifted her chin and hovered my lips over hers, just to tease her. She leaned forward and closed the space between our lips. Sparks flew every time our lips collided. Our lips danced with one another's, as they always have. Her tongue begged for entrance and I allowed it. I grabbed her lower lip with my teeth and pulled on it, causing her to moan in pleasure. She pushed me down so that she was straddling my waist.

I broke the kiss to breathe and to take of my shirt. I wanted to be closer to her, to feel her. As I removed my shirt, she removed hers. She smiled down at me and crashed our lips together again.

'There goes that feeling again,' I laughed to myself.

Suddenly she broke away from the kiss. I could feel her get stiff.

I sat up, startled. "What is it, Toph?"

"Sh." Was all she whispered.

Toph's POV

I stood up and planted my feet in the ground. Sokka stayed quiet which what good. I put on my shirt and went outside, Sokka following my closely.

"What is it?" he asked again.

"Didn't I just tell you sh?" I scolded.

Suddenly, I felt a rock fly at me. I put up a rock wall to protect us from the attack.

"It's an ambush!" I cried. "Prepare for anything!"

Sokka took out his boomerang and space sword. A stream of water grabbed him by the foot and pulled him towards the forest nearby the town. He sliced the water and began breathing heavy.

"What is happening?" he said frantically.

"I'm not sure, but it's nothing the chief and councilman Sokka can't handle!" I said as I looked back at him, smiling. I was ready for the attack.

Soon after, a flurry of bending came our way. Rocks and fire and water. Sokka flung his boomerang and pinpointed the firebender.

"Nice shot, baby!" I shouted.

My rock wall withstood all of the attacks so I could place the location of the enemies. I finally placed them. I created a landslide under each of our opponents and slid them towards me. Once they reached me, I created quicksand underneath all of them and began questioning.

"Why did you attack us?" I yelled, irritated.

"Well," the waterbender started as the quicksand began sucking them into the ground, "It's a councilman and the chief. We couldn't pass up the chance to try and kidnap you!"

"Yeah, you guys run for big money!" said the firebender. They began sinking again and they started panicking again.

"Just please let us go! No harm done!" cried the earthbender, as the sand reached their necks.

"Nope!" Toph said harshly as Sokka giggled.

"I love it when you're cruel!" He laughed. "So entertaining!"

"PLEASE!" they all cried in unison.

"Alright! Jeez, stop your blubbering," said and annoyed Toph.

She earthbended them thirty feet in the air and had them land on their faces.

As they groaned in pain, Toph walked up to them and said, "Don't mess with this team. We are unbeatable."

Sokka put his arm around me and kissed my cheek.

"Now get out of here," I muttered, hitting them in the rear with rocks. They ran in fear.

"I LOVE YOU SO SO SO SO MUCH!" Sokka yelled kissing my face a billion times.

"Love you too. Now let's pick up where we left off," I said seductively as Sokka closed the door behind him.
