"I still can't believe you got me in trouble," Draco looked up at you as you mumbled. You were both sitting in the Transfiguration classroom, waiting for Professor Mcgonagall to arrive so you can begin your detention.

"How was this my fault?" He sat at the table to the left of you, a spare piece of parchment sitting before him. Just hours earlier you had been sitting in this same classroom, both of you in the same spot as now, with Draco consistenly throwing things at you and poking his wand into your arm while the professor wasn't looking.

"You know exactly why it's your fault. Maybe if you weren't such a-"

"Mrs. (Y/L/N), maybe you would like to finish your insult at another time?" Your head snapped up and away from the smirking blonde right as Professor McGonagall walked in. You mumbled a 'sorry' before she started talking again. "You two are to be writing lines for the next hour, but unfortunetly I will not be in here for the start. A kid was caught out at night flying, and fell off his broomstick when he say Snape and I. So I have to take care of that. (Y/N), I can assume that you will help keep Mr. Malfoy here on track?"

"Yes, Professor. I'll make sure he stays here," You smiled lightly at her trust in you, and her distrust in Draco. She nodded, you never having been a bad kid, and walked out of the classroom.

"These teachers really don't like me do they?" Draco shook his head while speaking, then flashed you a smile before going to work. You rolled your eyes at him and started writing lines.

About ten minutes in Draco started to fidget in his seat and then five minutes after that he threw his quill on the table. "I hate writing lines!" He groaned, before standing up and walking around the classroom.

"You don't have much of a choice." You didn't even look up at him, just continued writing. "Sit down and go back to work."

"But," You jumped as you heard his voice whisper over your shoulder. "What if I don't want to?" You could feel his breath on your neck and you shivered lightly before turning around on your chair.

"You don't have much choice." You repeated, your face now centimeters from his. His eyes scanned your face, watching you as you stared a him, your breathin coming heavy at the small space between you two.

"I think I do. And I think the option of kissing one of the most beautiful girls at Hogwarts-" You blushed lightly and shook your head, your eyes still trained on his, "-is the one that I'm gonna pick." He continued to look into your eyes, watching for a sign that you don't want him too, but he's Draco Malfoy. His silver eyes and platinum blonde hair made up for his develish attitude; even that was a bit of a turn on to you.

His eyes flickered down to your lips, then back to your eyes as you watched him. Then his lips were on yours and you couldn't seem to breathe. It took you a second to respond, surprise from him actually doing it blocking your other senses. Yet, when you did, it was amazing. You weren't much of a kisser, but even your old boyfriends didn't compare to this. You put your hand on his chest lightly, his on your face.

You both pulled away when you heard a door opening and Draco jumped to his seat as Fred Weasley walked into the room. You let out a breathe you didn't know you had been holding, and looked over at Draco. He was smirking at you, but not in his usual 'I'm Draco Malfoy' kind of way. This was different. And you whispered a quiet 'damn' before going back to work.
