Chapter 17

Kiara P.O.V
It's been a week since I found out about my brother. It was a lot to take in and I wasn't ready to face him, I was sitting in the living room getting ready to have a talk with my mama.

I heard the floor board squeak and I saw my mama walk down the hall. I sat there waiting for her to fully come into the living room so we can start having this talk, I been wanting to avoid.

She walked in and sat down and just looked at me.

"Kiara" she started

"Kevin is 3 years older than you. I had him at 15, I was young and at the time I didn't know if I would be able to take care of him. Your father at the time said that Kevin wasn't his. I started working 3 jobs to provide for your brother. I still was able to finish school, but I knew I wouldn't be able to go to college. So I sent him off to start with your grandma, he's been there every since. I later got pregnant with you, and promised that I would be the best I can be. This is why I don't want you going out certain places because I don't want you to make the same mistakes I did."

I sat there taking it all in, I shocked. I couldn't even be mad because I know she had it rough. Here I was 17 years old, getting ready to graduate early.

I stood up and gave her a big hug, understanding where she was coming from. I checked my phone and saw that it was 10:30 in the morning.

Thanksgiving was getting closer and closer and I was beyond ready. I decided to just stay in the house and just chill.

August P.O.V
Wassssuppppp

I finally got ahold of the mf who been playing games with me. I was sitting at the trap watching this fool, I took the blind fold off of him and poured acid on his body. I didn't want to look at him any longer.

I made my way out of the trap and went home. I was doing 60 in a 35 when I saw blue lights behind me. Damn bruh.

I put the gun under my seat and sat up straight.

"Good evening sir. I need to see license, insurance, and registration" the cop said

I reached into my glove department and got everything out, hoping he would let me off the hook because I was ready to get home.

I thought about Kiara and thought about how I haven't been using condoms when we was fucking. She was gaining a little weight but I'm not gonna pay it no mind.

The fat ass cop came and back to my car and gave me a ticket. I went on about my business and stopped by Popeyes to get me something to eat. When I got my food I went home and ate while watching tv.

I finished up my food and went to sleep.
