a/n: this is a short chapter, it's just to get the story at a certain spot. So bare with me.

It felt like a million years, but I finally felt the familiar warmth of his hands wrap around my waist. He pulled me in closer and came close to my ear and whispered "Hey beautiful."

"Hello, Ben." He slowly moved his hand up to my face, and grazed the side of my cheek with his hand. I leaned closer to him, looking down at his lips.

"I don't know anything about you." I whispered. He smiled and inhaled deeply,

"Well, what would you like to know?" I tried focusing on what he was saying, but I kinda got lost in his voice.

"Well.. I don't know." I started to trail my fingertips across his collarbone. I could feel the shudders it was giving him, it only made me want to do it over and over again.

"Let's see, I'm 17, live with my friend Oli and his band. I play guitar, and scream a little." He started rambling on, but I loved it. "Anything else you'd like to know?" He smiled and looked into my eyes.

"It's a good start," I giggled, "I'm 16, live with my mom and little sister, but I'm always staying over at Austin's or Vic's place. I sing a lot, and I like writing too."

"I bet you have a beautiful voice." He said with a smile.

Usually, I'm not so assertive or touchy, but it felt so right with him. I couldn't describe the feelings I had towards him, and I barely knew him. I gently grabbed a hold of his hand and pulled him to the bar. He didn't seem to hesitate, so I sat down, waiting for him to join me.

A familiar voice made a "ah ah ah" when I went to touch the vodka bottle.

"Jeremy, you aren't my mother. I can drink." I said playfully, raising an eyebrow.

"I have to pour it, I'm sorry Iris I don't make the rules." I giggled and he handed me a glass.

"Who's your friend, and would he like anything?" He looked in Ben's direction.

"I'm Ben, and sure." He smiled up at him.

I was absolutely intrigued with his personality, and just him in general. I started paying more attention to his actions, and the words he used. My favorite thing was his smile, and the way he looked at me when he didn't think I was watching. I found myself craving him more and more. Not sexually, but just his touch, and to feel his lips on mine. I had a really high tolerance for alcohol, so even though I had a whole glass I only felt a little tipsy. Vic walked by, completely plastered. He stumbled over his own feet and used Kellin as support, to not fall on his ass. Maybe I became a little more than just tipsy, because I was giggling at everything. Ben stood up, almost tripping over his own feet. He looked up at me, and grinned. I winked at him playfully, and he ran his tongue across his teeth. I laughed and got up, unintentionally falling into his arms. I looked into his eyes, and kissed him. Not just a little kiss, but a deep, passionate kiss. His hands glided down my body, and stopped at my hips. He broke the kiss, and breathing heavily asked, well more stated,

"I want you to be mine." I chuckled.

"Possessive much?" I bit my lip, and he just nodded, and put his hand on my neck and starting kissing me again. I heard a very familiar song play over the speakers in the dance room. It was "Guys Like You Make Us Look Bad" by Blessthefall. Howls and cheers erupted and everyone started head banging and jumping, as if they were all at a concert. It was truly amazing. He laughed a little, and pulled me toward the dance floor. Everyone yelling "Heyyyyy!" I laughed and Gerard yelled over the music,

"Are you two a couple yet?!?" I nodded my head yes and everyone rejoiced. We all were dancing and laughing, just forgetting the world. I thought about it for a minute, that I'm absolutely happy here. I'd talk to Austin in the morning about staying with him for good, because I really wanted to. I want to be happy, and I finally feel happy.
