NATALIE'S POV
I listened to Ethan's past in silence. I knew he had a best friend called Jacob but I never knew that it was Jacob Ferraris and I also knew that he had a girlfriend called Natasha. I always wondered why their relationship broke abruptly but he never told me the reason.
This is why...
You know what is crazy. I don't feel angry.
I feel like what happened was just unfair. For Ethan and Jacob.
I know my brother well enough to know that he would have barely given a chance for Jacob to justify.
Ethan looked at face like he was patiently waiting for opinion.
"I think what happened was unfair" I said. Ethan smiled.
"For you and Jacob" Ethan's smile fell.
"What? " he said.
"You heard me"
"But he betrayed me. Not vice versa. "
"Have you ever thought this situation may have another angle to it? Maybe Jacob is NOT the back guy? "
"Right " Ethan said, sarcastically. "I know what's happening. You have fallen in love with him so you are taking his side. I thought family came first"
Now I got angry.
I got up and started screaming "I WAS JUST TRYING TO HELP. WHY THE FUCK CAN'T YOU UNDERSTAND?? I AM TAKING NO-ONE'S SIDE. I'M JU--"
I was about to continue when June walked into the apartment.
"What is happening guys? " she asked.
"Ask you boyfriend " I snapped.
"My darling sister has a crush on her boss a.k.a you brother which is making her blind and she does not realize what is right and wrong " he said.
June being June completely forgot about the rest of the sentence and focused on....
"Wait, you have a crush on my brother? "
I face-palmed myself.
"That is not what's important now. " I said.
"Actually it is. "
"Why? "
"Because I care for you"
"How is that relevant? "
"I don't want to you to get hurt but I don't think Jacob is the right guy"
"I told you" Ethan added.
"Shut up" I told him and focused my attention back on her
"My brother isn't exactly the relationship type person. He has one girl one night. Mostly probably he has a girl on his bed while we speak. "
I took a deep breath. My life seems to be having problem over problem.
