NATALIE'S POV

I walked into my office. I was nervous but I did not let it show. I know there is no reason to be nervous but I don't want to be his one of "those" girls.

I sat on my chair and realized that Jacob hadn't come yet. Maybe he wasn't coming today.

I started working when Stephanie walks into the room.

You don't remember her? That little bitch spilt coffee all over my shirt.

"What do you want? " I snapped at her.

"I just wanted to apologize"

I raised an eyebrow. "apologize? "

"Yeah for that day. You know I had spilt coffee on your shirt on purpose"

"But why?"

"I was just jealous. You know me and Jacob are secretly dating and the rumor of him sleeping with one girl per night is completely fake. I am the only girl in his life. That is why when you joined I thought you were going to be like his other female employees. Trying to get his attention and shit. But I'm glad you aren't like that. Friends?"

She stretched her arm. I put my hand in hers and shook it.

"Friends" I said and that was the fakest smile I had ever given someone.

She left the room and only then was I able to think properly.

If he already had a girlfriend then why the hell did he kiss me?

Or maybe Stephanie is the one who is lying.

It's time to find out !

I walked out of the building and it started it raining heavily and by the time I got to Jacob's apartment I was soaking wet and my shirt was sticking to body.

I was freezing and I knocked hard on his hard.

Knock Knock. No response

Knock knock. No response

Knock Knock. He opens the door and looks at me.

I see his eyes travel down my body and I realize that he is shirtless and is only wearing sweatpants.

I was not feeling cold anymore. (A/N- I'm cringing while re-reading this. im sorry, lol)

He pulled me into his apartment without word.

"What the fuck is wrong you? It's freezing out there" he said. His voice was enough to make the hair on the back of my neck stand.

"I wanted to ask you something" I said.

"You wanted to ask me something? Just because of that you came all the way here in the rain. Goddammit you must be feeling cold. " He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to him.

I immediately felt warm and I completely forgot what I came for.

He took to his shower room and switched the shower on (I had my clothes on). The water was warm and sighed in relief.

"I will get some clothes for you" he said.

He came back with new clothes and underclothes. I looked at the clothes and wondered who they belonged to.
