Round 2 (iii): Poles and Pants

*Leo's P.O.V.*

I don't remember the exact moment when I lost my heart to Reyna. But I do know the exact moment I lost my power of speech to her- when she wrapped her leg around the pole. I gasped and I'm pretty sure Annabeth heard me. We both both watched as Reyna, pulled herself closer to the pole, with her hips swaying ever so slightly. Her back was towards me but I could feel her her eyes tightly shut, pouring all her energy and concentration into the dance. And suddenly, it felt wrong watching her dance.She didn't want to dance- we forced her to. I wanted to cover her up and give her warm chocolate. But the way she was moving had me mesmerized and I couldn't move a muscle.

Yet here she was, twirling and sliding gracefully around the pole. I had started feeling bad for her when she did something that made me so, so grateful that I was a metre away from her because if I had been any closer, I would have burst into flames. Which would have been seriously embarrassing. As I watched, Reyna turned and twirled around the pole, one leg wrapped around it and the other extended straight at her side...and she bent down towards us. If I wasn't a 16 year old boy, I would have had to cover my eyes. But because I had seen more PG stuff than a little cleavage, I was fine. But that didn't stop my body from getting warmed up. I gritted my teeth to control the urge to burst into flames.

Annabeth leaned over to me; she had it cool, being a straight girl and all; and asked me, if I was alright. I managed to nod and looked at her just in time to see a smug grin disappearing from her face. By the gods, the girl was evil. As Reyna danced, I felt more embarrassed and when she looked me in the eye and dropped down...well, let's just say I wished I wore my non- flammable pants. They burst into flames and yelped, and tried to pat it out. Annabeth laughed, so did Reyna and all I could think of was how much I wished to be invisible.
I put out the flames but the damage was already done. Everyone had a view of my Avengers underpants. Annabeth got Reyna a towel, who covered herself and the rest of the crew was still chortling their heads off.
"Leo, man, I gotta say, I love the undies!" Percy said, in between giggles. I flipped him off and ran inside the washrooms to change, laughter still ringing through my ears.
