#*# Katsuki's P.O.V #*#
Lunch finished and it was onto the last few periods of school. But, my mind was in another place. I kept thinking about what Icyhot's brother said.
"Calm down little wolfy. He's going on the like list. You don't have to worry."
I clenched my fist, keeping my urge to punch something of someone. Luckily for me, Deku was able to sense my frustration and calm me down before I literally blew up. Finally, it was the end of school. The sun was coming up so all vamps retreated to their dorms. Those who were tired headed off to sleep while the others who were still energetic went outside to have some fun. With me, I had Deku, Sh*tty Hair, DunceFace, Cellophone and Alien Queen, who make up the Bakusquad, minus Deku.
"Kacchan. What're we gonna do?" Deku asked.
"Let's go to a café. I'm starving." Sh*tty Hair said.
"Oh oh! I know a good one not to far away." Alien Queen piped up.
"Than what're we waiting for?" Cellophone asked.
"Nothing! Let's go!" DunceFace cheered.
We all headed out of the school and down the street. My eyes scanned the area as I caught some people staring at Deku. I released a dark aura around us, keeping it light enough so the others wouldn't be affected too much.
'Dammit. A human in town isn't going to end well. If word gets round that a human attends U.A., he'll surely gain a high price on his head. Humans are rare nowadays. People would kill just to get near him, let alone touch him. Some sick jerks would even sell humans just to get a high price on the black-market. Minimum price range is just below ¥10,000,000. No way in hell am I letting those dirty creeps lay a finger on Deku. He's mine and mine alo-'
"Hey Bakubro! We're here!" Sh*tty Hair snapped me out of my thoughts as we stopped in front of a little café.
We entered and found a seat, gaining unwanted attention from those around us. Though, Deku was oblivious to all of it. He just happily found a table for us and sat down, looking through the menu. I noticed a some creeps whispering, most staring and others starting to stand. I darkened the aura around us, keeping them away.
"Kacchan. Let up a bit on your aura. Let the people enjoy their meals in peace." Deku said.
"Tch. I'm the one keeping them aw-"
"I know what you're doing, Kacchan. I'm not as oblivious as you may think," Deku cut me off. "I'm happy you're doing this, but I can defend myself. I haven't been doing nothing this entire time."
I heaved out a heavy sigh, saying, "fine. I'll let up a bit. But I'm not removing it."
"Thank you Kacchan." Deku smiled at me, covering most of my dark aura with his own happy aura.
"Hello sirs. May I take your orders now?" A waitress came over.
Deku covered all my aura as to not scare the lady off.
"Could I get a strawberry milkshake and some short cake please?" He asked.
"Certainly. And how about the rest of you?" She asked.
"Can I get a latte and a cream pie?" DunceFace asked.
"Chocolate milkshake and a blueberry pie thanks." Cellophone said.
"A vanilla milkshake and cheesecake please." Alien Queen ordered.
"Coffee and apple pie please." Sh*tty Hair said.
"Black coffee and your spiciest pastry." I said.
"Will that be all today?" The waitress asked.
"Yes thanks." Deku smiled.
She bowed and walked off, heading over to the counter to give their chef the order. That wasn't all she gave. I heard a few comments off her and a co-worker.
"Did you really just talk to a human?"
"Yeah. And he's really kind. He's probably the nicest customer all day."
"He looks so cute!"
"I read that humans are fowl, ugly creatures. But, he's not. He polite and so adorable!"
"You should totally ask him out."
"I wish I could. Did you sense the aura that wolf was giving off. I doubt I'll get anywhere near that human with him around."
"That's true. Maybe he'll come here again sometime alone?"
"Are you stupid! A human, surrounded by hundreds of supernaturals? I wouldn't go out alone even if I was given a billion yen."
"Hmm. I guess you're right. Anyway, here's the order."
"Thanks."
She came back over and placed everything down.
"Thank you, miss." Deku thanked before taking his fork and digging right into the short cake.
The waitress bowed again before leaving. We all ate our food and slurped up our drinks, brining up random topics. My dark aura finally broke free from Deku's happy aura and surrounded us like a protective barrier. The others brought up random subjects as I listened in on the waitresses conversation.
"He's such a nice boy. How is he even friends with that wolf? He's so bright while the wolf is so dark. They're like day and night."
"They do say opposites attract."
"Still. I just don't get it. The other's there seems fine. But, what if they're just using him?"
At that, I saw Sh*tty Hair's ear's perk up. DunceFace and Alien Queen also seemed to catch that. Cellophone must've cast a spell that amplifies his hearing as he glanced over at the counter.
"You think so?"
"Well, I'm not sure. But, what would you do if you could get close to a human?"
"Hmm... that's hard to say."
"Exactly. So, wouldn't you befriend them first to get close than, once you know what you want, use them to your advantage?"
"Some people are like that, yes. But, if that were the case, why would he come here? It would be easier and safer if he stayed in his home town. But, he came here. So, I think that suggests that he is strong enough to not let others trick him."
"I guess you're right. Well, my shift's over. I'll be off now. Bye!"
Their conversation faded out as she left. My focus trailed back to my food which it seems I'd already finished without realising it. I finished my drink and looked over at the others. They'd finished too. Sh*tty Hair and Alien Queen payed for the food as we left to go do something else. But what?
"I heard a new theme park opened up just East of here. We could go the-"
"Katsuki! Get over here right now!" Deku was cut off as I saw my old hag storming up here.
'Sh*t.'
