U.A. For the Supernatural [Completed]

Ch 7

I woke up to someone else shuffling around under the covers. I opened my eyes to see Shinso moving around, though, still seemingly asleep. I looked up at the time, seeing it was 4 in the afternoon. Class would be starting in 1 hour. I turned back to Shinso who had calmed down. I sat up and turned to the books he had. I skimmed over them, seeing which one seemed interesting. I picked one that was called 'Narnia' and began reading.

"Oh wow... that's cool." I murmured as my eyes trailed down the pages.

I read to about chapter 5 when Shinso started to stir awake. He sat up, yawned as he rubbed sleep from his eyes. He turned his head to me with a small smile in which I smiled back.

"Good-afternoon Shin-kun." I greeted.

"Afternoon, Midoriya," He replied. "Wait. Shin-kun?"

"I-I just thought I'd give you a little nickname." I replied, scratching the back of my head.

"I-it's fine! I kinda like it..." Shin-kun trailed off. "By the way. What are you reading?"

"Narnia. It's really interesting." I replied.

He turned his head, seeing the books. He let out a sigh as he checked the time. It was 4:30.

"We should get ready. We have 30 minutes." He said.

I nodded in response as we both got up. I grabbed a bag that had my name on it, in which someone brought it in, and pulled out my clothes. We faced away from each other as we started to change. I pulled down my shirt and brushed my hair back, though, it didn't do much. I turned around, seeing that Shinso was also finished, though, he had a red face.

"Are you alright Shin-kun? You're face is red." I asked, walking over and placing my forehead against his.

He didn't have a temperature, which was good. Though, his face reddened. I tilted my head in confusion, but, he brushed it off.

"Let's get going. Aizawa can get pretty angry when we're not one time." He said, shuddering a bit at the end.

"Hai!"

We left the room and headed down and outside. The sun was setting slowly in the distance, a few stars starting to appear. We entered the school and made our way towards classroom 1-A. We entered, only for me to be tackled into a protective hug by Kacchan. A growled erupted from his throat as he glared daggers at Shinso. I petted Kacchan's head, causing his gaze to relax a bit as he leaned into the touch.

"Get inside. Class is starting." A bored, tired voice said behind us.

We walked over to our desks as Aizawa walked in, holding a stack of paper in hand. He walked around the room, handing the sheet out. A test. Almost everyone groaned at that.

"You have an hour. Begin." Aizawa set up a timer as everyone began their test.

*Time Skip 1 hour*

The timer went off, signalling that the test was over. Everyone sighed in relief as they leaned back in their chairs. Aizawa collected the sheets and started to mark. He turned into an octopus so he could mark more faster. Everyone else started to chat while waiting.

"I wonder how we did." I said, joining a group that consisted of Ochaco, Tenya and Tsu.

"I probably failed." Ochaco sighed in defeat.

"Don't say that, Uraraka! You have to be positive!" Tenya said.

"Come on, Ochaco-san. You couldn't of done that badly." Tsu added.

"I know. It's just... the last couple of tests. My score's been getting lower and lower." Ochaco said.

"What was your last score?" I asked. "It can't be that bad."

"I got 59%." Ochaox stated bluntly.

Tenya, Tsu and I all looked at each other. Ochaco looked at the ground in defeat.

"Come collect your tests. Those of you who scored below 50% will have an extra test as homework." Aizawa said.

Everyone collected their tests and read the score. An echo of groans filled the room. I looked around then back at mine. I got 97%.

"What?! How? You weren't even here for those subjects. How did you score so high?" Ochaco exclaimed, staring at my score.

"Guess I just got lucky?" I replied, scratching the back of my neck.

"That's more than luck." She pouted.

"Tell you what. I'll tutor you." I said.

"Really?! Thank you Deku-kun!" Ochaco cheered, hugging me.

"No problem." I smiled, petting her head.

"Woah! Midoriya! How the hell did you get 97%?!" I heard Ojiro exclaim.

I looked behind me, seeing that they had gotten hold of my test. I pried Ochaco off me and walked over.

"I'm not so sure myself. Beginners luck maybe." I replied.

"Beginners luck my a$$. You always were top of the class back in elementary." Katsuki said.

"Well I'm not top. Yaomomo got higher than me. Just look." I said, pointing to Momo who'd gotten 99%.

"Still! You're second in the class!" Toru exclaimed.

"We might just win this contest!" Mina cheered.

"Contest?" I repeated, confusion evident in my voice.

"Every year, the teachers hold a little competition. It's got all kinds of subjects. Each class has to choose one person from each class to do a subject. There's a maximum of two people for each as there's two parts to each test. You can do the whole thing yourself or switch to your partner." Momo explained.

"You can do up to two subjects. No more. Not everyone gets to have a go, but, more than half usually do." Jirou added.

"And there's a prize for the class that wins!" Mina exclaimed.

"The prize this year is an all payed trip to the beach resort 5 miles from here. The winners get to stay there for a whole week." Ejirou said.

"If you do the three subject test with Yaoyorozu, we're sure to win that!" Sero added.

"There are 15 tests in total," Tokoyami said. "Our homeroom teachers monitor what subjects we're good at and which ones we're not. From that, we decide who does what."

"Hmm. That's seems cool. I'll do it!" I agreed.

"We still have 4 days till it starts." Sato said.

"Alright. Let's do our best guys!" Mina cheered.

A chain of cheers erupted, only to be silenced by an annoyed Aizawa. We silently laughed as we said who'd be doing what.
