Not Without A Purpose

"Rabbana ma khalakhta haza baatilan subh-hanak, Faqhina azabbanaar "

(My Lord you did not create all this without a purpose,Glory be to you.! Save ur from the punishment of fire)

This is one of my favorite ayaats in the Quran and I generally recite when I am fascinated by the beautiful creation of Allah around me. It's like one of those verses that would cross my mind in a joyous and  happy mood.

But from a few days I utter this ayaah almost unconsciously and the strange thing is I'm not even close to being happy.. life seems to be throwing at me bundles of disappointments and I just start to feel completely worn out..and it is at these moments of bitter agony I find this verse flowing through my tongue.

Now when I reflect on it's meaning and relate it to my situation I figured out that it is nothing but Allah's way of reminding me - All this tribulations, disappointments and pain are not created without a purpose.
And the very next line 'save us from the Hellfire' points out to us that the real worry we should have is of the hereafter.
