Bigby X Reader (the wolf among us)

Staying over

"What?" You asked in confusion as Bigby grabbed the bottle he had placed beside you earlier.
"C'mon [Y/N], do I have to spell it out to you" Bigby grinned taking a sip from the beer.
"If you think I'm thinking about the kiss, you wolf are wrong"
"If you knew anything about me, it's that this nose of mine can easily sense when someone is lying to me" he grinned tapping his index finger against the tip of his nose.
"Okay maybe I was! But can we drop it!" You sighed in defeat covering your face with both your hands. You honestly just wanted this night to end. From tiring journeys and almost getting robbed sounded bad enough, but this flush of embarrassment he was putting you through was getting on your nerves. Only moments ago was he regretting the kiss but now he was teasing you about it! It was almost like he had changed completely just by walking into his apartment or the drink he was having had affected him so soon.

"Sure, I'll just let you get to sleep then. I'll just grab you a blanket"

"Your bed doesn't already have a blanket?" You questioned standing up and stretching your arms in the air with a loud yawn. You noticed Bigby laughing again. "Okay what's so funny this time?"

"[Y/N]... I don't have a bed"
"What? do you sleep on the floor?" you teased him but was quick to notice his expression fall.
"I sleep in that chair"

"Oh... Bigby you really need to invest in a bed" you said grabbing a loose blanket hanging on a nearby chair.
"Been told that enough [Y/N]" he mumbled watching you unfold the blanket in your hands. "Wait if you sleep there then where will I sleep?"

"Well you could um..." He coughed and you looked at him knowing what he getting at.
"Really?" You chuckled throwing the blanket at him.
"Okay okay, I'll just sleep on the floor then"
"Bigby I was joking" you huffed in laughter, "I thought that nose of yours could catch out lies?" You said taking back the blanket from him. He grinned at you and padded toward the chair, falling into with with a relaxed filled groan. "You sure you're okay about this because I was almost sure you wouldn't want to look at me after..."
"What happened in the office?" You finished his sentence stopping in front of him with the blanket held closer to your body. He nodded in agreement.
"What if I was to say that maybe..." You smirked taking a step closer to him.
"Maybe?" He echoed.
"That maybe... I liked it" you bit your lip as if by instinct as Bigbys brow raised with that smirk of his raising one corner of his lips. "You did?" Amusement in his voice as he stretched an arm toward you. You accepted his request and sat yourself upon his lap. You shifted about and got comfortable, "this isn't uncomfortable on you?" you questioned pulling the blanket over the both of you.
"Of course not" he said pulling a piece of hair behind your ear with his thumb. He just couldn't believe himself at what was happening. He felt as though he had just met the most beautiful person tonight and that this person was here in his arms, accepting him even after his stupid mistake in the Business Office. Yet that stupid mistake seemed to have been the right thing to do. You turned your head toward him and his eyes met your own. [E\C] against hazel. "You have the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen" Bigby whispered brushing a thumb across your cheek. Both transfixed on one another you both had begun to lean closer to one another eager to retry a previous kiss.

When...

The loud knocks at the door caused you both to stop and instead bow your heads in annoyance.
"Perfect timing" you said sarcastically pulling yourself from his body and standing to your feet. "You going to answer it?" You whispered grabbing his hand to pull him up which he accepted.

"I guess" he yawned running a hand down his face in frustration. Why whenever anything good was about to happen there's always something or someone there to ruin it. No wonder he can't have nice things. He walked toward the door as you were left standing in the background only to find Snow standing outside with a shocked expression to find you inside the apartment.
