Bigby X Reader (the wolf among us)

Hungry

-Next Morning-

-[Y/N] P.O.V-

I woke up earlier than usual. I guess because the cubs actually slept all night, which was rare...

I looked over at the clock, 6:23. It was early. I was wide awake so I got up and decided to check up on the cubs.

I walked into the baby room seeing Bigby asleep in the chair next to them.

"So that's why I didn't hear any crying or whining last night"

Never thought Bigby, of all people, would stay with the cubs all night. I did notice he was a lot more, well I don't know, caring toward them recently.

I looked down at the sleeping cubs and then over at the passed out wolf, stretched out on the black chair with his sleepy head falling back on the chair, snoring to the ceiling.

I'm surprised the cubs aren't crying at the loudness of the snores coming from Bigbys snout. I guess they're used to it...unlike me. Snoring in your ear can get annoying after a while.

I smiled to myself, happy he's here with me again. I was still pissed at Snow after what she did but I guess I can't really dwell on it, he's here now, there's a way for us to be together again.

I left the room quietly closing the door behind me as I tip-toed down to the kitchen as to not wake anyone, specially Red, she can be cranky if she wakes early in the morning. Real cranky.

I walked into the kitchen opening the refrigerator. I grabbed some bacon and eggs, placing them on the counter. I pulled out the pan and started cooking some quick breakfast.

The bacon sizzled on the pan sending delicious smokey smells into my nose, making me drool with hunger.

Ok now I sound like Bigby..

I finished frying the food and put them on my plate. It looked delicious and my stomach was growling at me to just eat it already.

I sat at the table eating my breakfast when the door opened and Bigby walked in.

"I smelled bacon" he whispered smirking at me.

"Well you did, but it's mine. So if you want some you're going to have to cook it yourself" I laughed taking a bite from mine as Bigbys hungry eyes watched me.

"Can't I just have some of yours?"

I chewed my food shaking my head no, as Bigby gave me an irritated look. I smiled innocently at him as he sat next to me taking my coffee and taking a sip from it.

"Hey! that's mine not yours!" I complained grabbing the cup from him.

"[Y/N], c'mon I'm starving!"

"And you can cook breakfast if you're hungry, not steal it off me!"

He stood up and I thought he was going to get his breakfast but no, he just made me ten times madder at him.

He grabbed my bacon off the plate and quickly devoured it, licking his lips. "Aw, now that's some tasty bacon [Y/N]"

"BIGBY!" I shouted punching him, but to him they were nothing but little taps.

"Hey, hey! I didn't do anything wrong" he laughed grabbing my fists and looking down at my tempered face.

"You ate my breakfast you IDIOT!" I shouted, furious at him that I had only taking two bites from a small piece of bacon.

"Look, we can just cook some more-"

"You mean you can cook some more!" I smirked pushing him toward the pan and gesturing him to start cooking.

"But I-" he said looking down at the pan.

"Go on" I laughed nodding him to start cooking, "you said you were hungry so cook some food for yourself. And make me some too since you ate all mine!"

"But I can't" he mumbled, embarrassed.

"Huh? what do you mean you can't?" I asked puzzled.

"I can't cook [Y/N]" he said looking over at me, embarrassed as he scratched the back of his head.

"Oh...*sigh* I guess I'll show you then Bigby"

"You don't have to-"

"Well if you don't learn there's no way I'm cooking for you all the time" I laughed nudging him away from the pan as I poured some oil onto the hot pan.

Bigby stood beside me watching my every move carefully like a curious child.

"You just pour some oil onto the pan and then throw the bacon on the pan when you hear-" I stopped when his hands slid around my waist.

"Hear what?" he mumbled into my ear peering over my shoulder at the bacon sizzling on the pan.

"S-sizzling" I shivered at the sudden touch as Bigby acted completely normal.

"Okay, I think I get it [Y/N], so is it done yet?" He whispered locking his fingers together as his arms were wrapped completely around my waist.

"Mhmm" I hummed finishing cooking and plating it up.

"Good cause I'm gunna start drooling on your neck if I don't eat sooner or later"

"Well go ahead and cook yours now"

"What?"

"This is mine hungry wolf, so now you know how to cook, go ahead and cook yours" I laughed grabbing my plate and sitting at the table again.

Bigby looked over at me annoyed and I smiled up at him innocently, "what? you're not the only one who's hungry!"

Updates will be slower than usual and you'll know why if you read the message I posted yesterday.

I have a bug and I'm really sick...again! :'(
