Bigby X Reader (the wolf among us)

Late Night

Bigbys P.O.V

I sat in my office with my feet kicked up on the table, finished the mountain of paperwork Snow left me to do. It was three in the morning and I had nothing better to do than sit here and smoke my huff n puffs without anyone bothering me. I wasn't in the mood to listen to Colin tonight and I knew he would be in my apartment waiting to nag the crap out of me.

I couldn't stop thinking about [Y/N], always in the back of my mind bringing the rare smile to my face from time to time. She's the most perfect and beautiful person I've ever met, and I'm going to marry her. Even thinking about this, me, the big bad bloody wolf is getting married. One of the moments in life I was sure I was never going to experience! I thought I would be alone for the rest of my life, the lone wolf life I thought I would live.

That night I first saw her, saved her, I knew there was something about her that would change my life forever.

There's one moment that still angers me. When Mary fucking nearly killed her, but why? What did she ever do to fucking deserve that! I bit down on the cigarette in my mouth, clenching my fists.

"She gone now, she can't hurt her again" I whispered to myself, calming myself down.

There was a knock on the door that brought me back to reality.

"*cough* yea come in" I gruffly said squishing the bitten cigarette into the overflowing ashtray.

It was Snow, didn't think she would be still awake.

"Sorry to bother you, I didn't think you were still here"

"Me neither... Thought you would be gone long ago Snow. So what is it?"

"Oh, I just wanted to grab the files off you" she said smiling at me.

I noticed the dark circles under her eyes, she really does push herself now she's deputy mayor.

"Snow go back to your apartment and get some sleep I can leave them in the office for you"

I went to grab the paperwork and our hands brushed against each other. Snow started blushing, "sorry.."

"It's fine, but Snow really go on back" I chuckled taking the files up.

"Thank you Bigby, but I'm fine, okay. Don't worry" she smiled letting out a quiet yawn.

"Snow"

"Bigby really I'm fine"

I decided not to argue with her anymore because it would never end. I know it wouldn't. Believe me.

I walked out of my office and Snow followed me back to the office, close beside me. We walked into the office and I put the files down as Snow fell back into her chair, rubbing her eyes.

"Thanks Bigby, you can call it a night" she yawned waving her hand to the door.

I crossed my arms looking at her, "Snow you really should be calling it night"

"Mr. Wolf, I'm not tired!" she snapped at me standing off her chair, putting her hands on the desk.

"I didn't want to have to do this Snow" I sighed picking her up and throwing her over my shoulder, walking to the door.

"BIGBY PUT ME DOWN!" she keep shouting punching her fists into my back. I started laughing walking into the elevator as I put her down, "there"

"Mr Wolf! You'll explain your actions immediately!" she shouted at me crossing her arms. In her drowsy state she sure could keep the whole professional thing going.

"What? I'm bringing you home" I said shrugging my shoulders, complete innocence in my voice.

"Mr. Wolf! I told you to go!"

"Snow, you need to rest okay. And can you drop the whole Mr. Wolf thing. Just Bigby, alright? "

"Why is it so important-" I stopped her by putting my finger on her soft lips, "Snow you're going home and that's that" I whispered smiling at her. The doors opened and Snow looked me in the eyes, shaking her head, "fine.."

"So would you rather be carried or walk this time?" I smirked stretching out my arms

"Walk!" she quickly said pushing my hands away and quickly leaving the elevator. I walked her back to her apartment door, "now get some rest okay" I smiled putting my hand on her shoulder.

"I will, I'm not a child you know" she smirked kissing my cheek, "goodnight Sheriff"

"Was that a goodnight kiss" I smirked raising an eyebrow.

"Sorry... Is that illegal Sheriff?"

"I guess not"

She opened her door and stepped inside, "I'll see you soon then"

"Yea, goodnight Snow"

She closed her door and I stood for a few seconds holding my cheek, "goodnight kiss" I chuckled walking back to my apartment.

Sorry this was an odd chapter...I've kinda hit a wall in this story, confused in how to continue it but I'll figure it out! lol xD
